Yuna took a deep breath as she stood on the hill overlooking Besaid. It had been quite a while since she had really been back. Ever since leaving on her journey to investigate the sphere that seemed to depict Tidus, she had only come back to Besaid once when Lulu had her baby, but she didn't stay long. Now, with her journey being over, she was free to return home for good. Though, it wasn't all good. Not only did she not find her love again, she knew there was someone in town who was likely to be quite upset with her. A female a few years younger than her that Yuna had been really close with. Back during the days of Sin, she helped train the girl in the arts of summoning, becoming a bit of a mentor for her and a dear friend. When she came back during the calm, the two got even closer over those two years. Close enough to the point that Yuna even thought she might be falling for her, but then that sphere of Shuyin was found and she rushed off with Paine and Rikku without really telling anyone, and she knew that would have upset her young friend greatly.

So, as Yuna entered Besaid and most people crowded around her, congratulating her on saving the world once again and welcoming her back home, she just absentmindedly thanked them, her eyes scanning around for the one girl she wanted to see more than any other.
