RE: Blades Vs Fire - Who wins? For me and 1+1=10

The sun was sitting high above the trees. A calm tranquility that was almost eerie for those that participated in the League of Legends. Suspicions ran high every time you passed a bush, every time there was movement out of the corner of your eye. For many it was an uneasy feeling that spurred action to resolve, but for Talon it was nothing. The Blade's Shadow of Noxus, an assassin of utmost skill. As he made his way through the woods, every sway of the branches, every scurrying movement of animals Talon paid notice to. Gaze forward, he could easily picture what was making the sounds around him. Always searching, always waiting for anyone foolish enough to attack him.

Yet now wasn't a time for battle or assassinations. And in even the most unlike of people, this trek into the woods had a much lighter meaning to it for Talon. For in the thralls of battle, in the constant struggle for dominance on the Field of Justice, Talon had found a friend. And not in terms of allies or companion like Katarina, but an actual friend. One that Talon could discuss things that never crossed his lips with another. How could he? The Noxian High Command was riddled with cut throats and back stabbers, and even if Talon was the strongest of them all, that didn't stop any of them from painting a target upon his back. No, it took someone to best him to open his eyes. Just like how General Du Couteau had bested him and earned his trust, so to did Ahri.

That fateful day, that match. It could have been attempted a hundred times over and Talon would of be victorious, yet somehow he had failed. He knew of the woman's charm, he knew of her evasiveness and magics, he had bested stronger opponents so why had she been such a problem? Whatever the case was she had best Talon, and not in some group effort. One on one, she had defeated him. It drove the assassin mad with confusion and frustration, so much so that the usual impulse to track her down and end her life to keep such a disgrace from getting out had driven him to do so. To track her down, and when he found her, when he teleported behind her for the kill.. He found his resolve lacking. She could of charmed him, but he was sure she didn't. The rest was history.

So here the assassin was, coming to a stop once he had come to a tree that he had marked with his blade. A reoccurring spot where the two would meet when able. Such things as friendship or even love had never entered Talon's mind through the out the years. Was this love though? Infatuation? Desire for something new? Killing was of course his trade, his favored skill, and he enjoyed it but this? This cloak and dagger to meet with Ahri? There was a different sort of thrill that went with it.

Someone was coming, of course Talon was expecting Ahri but he heard the soft footsteps before actually seeing who it was. His hand going right to his daggers, however with each passing moment the intent to kill faded. From hearing her speak, seeing her tails and ears, Talon would remove his hand from his daggers and turn to look at the woman as she stood by some nearby bushes. Quick to question like always she made it clear her disapproval of the location. However one quick stern look and Ahri would drop such things. That look however turning into a soft smirk when he saw the smile on Ahri's face.

“Maybe if we work on your stealth a little we could meet up somewhere different.” Talon stated softly, looking down to the woman now that she had walked up to him. “You have any trouble getting here? Did anyone follow you?” The man asked, questions that he seemed to always ask her when they would meet up. Never had anyone followed her thus far, and even if they had Ahri was more then capable in ditching anyone foolish enough to follow.

Did he recall? Of course he did, it was rare when he felt such a need to kill someone, to correct a mistake. He wasn't one to brag but he rarely made mistakes. When the two weren't together Talon's mind would race with why he didn't kill her, why he couldn't. It could even be described as an obsession. But Talon would never admit to it. Why would he obsess over such a beautiful and alluring woman? Talon caught himself in that train of thought before it went much further, knowing full well that she could oh so easily charm him without even magic.

Ahri continued to retell their meeting, that first time that Talon had failed in his resolve. She seemed to always bring it up, always remind Talon that he didn't kill her, that he didn't act like the assassin he was brought up to be. Maybe that was why he enjoyed her company, maybe that was why he fell for her ways. Who knew, before long Ahri was practically guiding him down to the ground, the man unable and more then willing to follow however Ahri wanted him too.

Who knew if she did this on purpose, laying back to provoke or tease him. She had to of known he could see her pink panties. His eyes of course focused on them as she laid before him. But before he could say anything, or should say anything the woman was sitting up once more. His eyes on her own as she continued talking. She talked a little too much, but that made her unique to Talon, different from those he knew in Noxus. Even if he wasn't responding Ahri had his full attention.

“...” Talon was silent as he now looked up at the woman, she had gotten him from standing to now laying on his back with her on top. His gaze on her eyes as her finger came up softly under his chin. He remembered saying something about how he was going to kill her. How she couldn't possibly do anything to stop him. But instead of speaking Talon did what he usually did, let his actions talk for him. One of his hands coming up to the side of Ahri's face, his eyes on her own the whole time before he pulled her face to his. Kissing her softly on the lips as the two laid there together. Once the kiss ended Talon kept his hand where it was, “I'm still going to kill you one day.” He said with a soft smirk, it was strange. That threat usually was a promise, but with Ahri it was a joke. The only person in the world it seemed that Talon would never go through with killing.
