It was the beginning of a wonderful year in college, Skylar starting off as a sophomore and excited for the big year ahead of her. Currently she was in the process of getting an Associates in Science, working her way up into the Medical Field; where her hopes and dreams were. With her heavy book bag adjusted to fit snug on her back, her hands gripped at both straps that held around her shoulders, her feet meeting with the cement each step, her first class being Biology, a difficult yet fun class to be in. Her apparel consisted of blue skinny jeans that rolled up at the bottom, a tight white shirt, and some black VANS to top it off. Her hair was cascading along her back, moving with each rhythm of her walk.
'L140' was what read on the door in building L, where her Biology class was located. Inhaling softly, she anxiously put her hand at the door knob, afraid to turn it and see what will be ahead this school year, the frog lodged in her throat, but focusing her thoughts on how this class will help her for the rest of her life, she swallowed that frog and opened the door, walking in and browsing around to where she can take a seat at. Her tail laid flat on her back, her ears pulled back as she felt uncomfortable with eyes scanning her, already judging her by first glance most likely. Trying her hardest to not pay attention to the crowd of students, she took a seat in the front row, crossing her legs and setting her book bag down by her side.
Like a good student would, she unzipped her book bag and took out the necessary books and notebooks for it, and placed it on her desk, having her hands fold on top of them. She shifted in her seat, waiting for the professor to arrive to get things started, though she was only 10 minutes early but sometimes the professors start early as well. Already she grew bored, but then again she did not have any friends in the class to join in with her, which she will have to make do with.
