Elaine hadn’t known what to expect from the nurse her Bud had hired, but it didn’t surprise her nearly as much as it should have that when the woman walked through the door she looked more like a centerfold model instead of a private nurse. Well, at least not a real one. The woman looked perfect for every wet dream that someone could have about a nurse. All soft curves and height, if she’d been there to take care of Douglas Elaine would have been worried, but as it stood, she was there for TJ. And while having her there around Douglas worried her some, especially when compared to his fiancee, the woman looked like a walking billboard for a healthy sex life, TJ needed help, and Bud had given this woman the task. “Catalina Barnes?”
Catalina nodded, “Yes, Ms. Secretary.”The dark haired woman looked around the room, and Elaine couldn’t help but like her some. It took a brave woman to ignore her in favorite of inspecting the room. “My son should be here momentarily. For the foreseeable future you are to stay with him 24/7, or arrange for a substitute if you have to be gone. We want it to appear to simply be a friendship, not you being his nurse.” “So your husband said.”Catalina said, her voice lilting ever so slightly, hints of brooklyn and something european in the words, as if she’d spent alot of time overseas.
Elaine nodded slightly glancing towards the door, a small pained smile crossing her face when she saw her son. While he had gained some weight so he no longer looked so painfully skinny, the dark circles under his eyes from not sleeping hurt her heart. “TJ, I’d like you to meet Catalina.”She said wondering just how she was going to break it to him he had a nurse. Because for the last week since he’d gotten out of the hospital it had been her or douglas who stayed with him, hoping he’d understand that with getting ready for the campaign for presidency again, they had no time to spend every day with him no matter how much they might like to.
