The roar of 20,000 people had finally died down at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, while back stage the rock band that had just thrilled their fans was relaxing with some of the hot girls who watched the show, well most of the band any way. The lead singer & lead guitarist was sitting quietly in his private dressing room, the sweat still running down his body from the heat of the lights and all the people who packed the arena. Long ago Eddie Rock had traded in his bottle of Jack Daniels for a cold bottle of coke after each show. Eddie now 49 had been a major rock star since he made it big back in 1988. He and his band known as the Rollers had in the past 26 years scored 21 top ten songs, from which 12 hit number 1 on the charts from 17 albums.
Back in his younger days Eddie was known for his wild ways, the party's, the wild sex and the fact that he was well hung between his legs which thrilled many girls over the years, but he gave up the wild life when he noticed that he was getting older and there were still hot teens who were his daughters age hanging around looking for sex. Still the legend spread and took on a life of it's own about how large Eddie was. It wasn't until Eddie married a female rock singer named Ariel and had a family that he started thinking about slowly down. Ariel herself lived life on the edge, she was the lead singer of an all girl band called " The Knockers " and yes.....the band was named for tits. They both knew that once their children came along the days of wild sex parties, drinking and drugs were over.
Ariel had given up the road and her band to raise the kids while Eddie kept working. But Eddie kept getting older while the girls seemed to stay the same age. In Eddie's mind these girls who came too see him reminded him to much of his daughter who had become a huge pop star in her own right. She had scored 6 number 1 hits from her first album, plus 3 others were top 10. Her second & third albums were just as popular. Eddie picked a music magazine which had a split cover on the front, one image was the way his daughter had looked. America's sweetheart, the girl next door. The other image was a shadow with a question mark over it because she was changing her image to something more adult, but no one knew just how adult she was going? Hints of a change had been dropped, but even those close didn't have a clue.
Eddie and his band had a few more shows to do before he could head home. He felt a need to speak with his daughter. Eddie knew from Jillie's manager, Johnny Shine. That she would be heading into the studio to record a new album. Eddie knew this because Johnny was also his manager. Jillie was just wrapping up her latest world tour. The last stop was Toronto, Canada. Once the show was over, Jillie would board her bus and head for her family's home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Flying would be quicker, but then Jillie would miss out on having fun while driving home. There were so many ways she could entertain herself on the bus.
