Eric McNiel considered himself a typical guy. He didn't see himself as special at all. He just lived life normally. He went to classes and studied hard, but wasn't the smartest in the class. He really felt he was average. He didn't mind at all. Average was better than below average. He'd be able to get a good job and make enough to support himself and whatever future family he might have. He was single, but was sure that wouldn't last too long.
He felt his appearance was average as well. He stood at 6'2" with broad shoulders and a strong build. He was fit, but no body builder. His brown hair was trimmed short, but not too short. He had light blue eyes. He dressed casually most of the time. His skin was lightly tanned. He didn't worry too much about his looks. He didn't want that one thing to rule his life. He just accepted he was average and really actually enjoyed it. Not worrying was a freeing feeling. He felt his life was good. It could be better, but it wasn't bad and that was all he could really ask for. The only thing he really wanted was to find that perfect girl who he would eventually marry, or at least a nice girl he could go out with for a while.
