The giant grinning kitty head. That's what everyone summarized him as, nothing more than fat miscolored cat with a bewildering devilish grin.
That was long before. After the very incident having encountered the awfully strange girl from wherever she came from, he was curious on where she had come from and how she lived her life truly. He was eagerly interested in Alice. However the chance never came as she had vanished from wonderland during her trial when she grew to large size against the guards. Ever since, he changed. He waited day and night for another one to come along like Alice, but no one ever came.
His life changed from then on, as well as Wonderland. The guards went through vigorous, gruesome training and they also received heavy weapon upgrades. Some guards themselves were executed hours after the Alice Trial. Many people were also considered outlaws or turncoats against the Queen of Hearts. This included Alice, and Cheshire himself. Their bounties were high, but alas he was never caught.
He ran, oh the running he did. He crossed the map of Wonderland back and forth, up and down, left and right. His legs became swift and powerful, his vanishing skill increased to the point he could disappear into thin air instantly. He's toppled twos and fours, outran sevens and eights, oh those silly cards. He was simply much, much stronger. He even lost some weight, not too much though, but he certainly wasn't as pudgy.
Now to the present moment.
"Stop wretched feline! By the Parliament of Hearts I order you to stop!" neck straining shouts and foul swears fire about the clear plain as Cheshire breezed along the grassy field, turning his face back to show his deviant grin. He loved himself, he did. The foot chase continued as Cheshire started to lax on his running, giving the cards a sliver of hope before speeding up again. Then came the woods. One pounce sent the oddly purple cat onto an oversized leaf, and a frenzy broke out among the chase party.
Threes argued with sixes, ones beat against the tree while nines tried to shake him down. The bedlam ended with cards storming away, or guards being dragged out of the forest. Others were not so lucky. Some were dead, but that wasn't his problem.
Hopping off the large plant leaf, Cheshire stole out of the woods when something peculiar was going on. Nothing awfully strange, just giant, luscious legs sticking out of a house and talking. Could it be?
Approaching one of the giant limbs, Cheshire pawed at it and heard: "I'm no giant! My name is Alice!"
Turn him brown and take away his grin. Alice was back! And from the way her legs looked and the beautiful eyes, she had evolved beyond a cute child.
Pouncing up onto a thigh, Cheshire climbed up to the window and perched onto it.
"O' comes the return of the rambunctious cub, now a matriarch of her pride."
