snowed in

Stepping in from the cold winter's air, I sighed softly taking in the warmth of the house. It had been snowing the entire day and I was almost positive I'd be snowed in for a few days. It wasn't something I minded though. I'd already but a good amount of food and the stove didn't require electricity. There was water and booze to last me for months, you know, just in case. After living in the north for a couple years I got used to it, but Bandit still got a little stir crazy, especially if he was in one of those...cycles. He was used to roaming around, being a wolf, but during times like these he was shut in. I had domesticated him enough to be able to survive the spring, fall and summer, but winters? He wouldn't last two seconds with normal wolves. He...was special. Spotting him in the living area curled up in front of the fire, I scratched behind his ears gently before placing a soft kiss on the top of his muzzle. "I know you hate it boy, but it should only be a few days. You hungry?" not expecting any sort of answer, I casually went into the kitchen and fetched him some scraps before hopping in the shower. I had to conserve the hot water, so it only lasted a few seconds before I stepped out and slipped on a loose night gown, not bothering with anything beneath it. It was cold, sure, but not in front of the fire. I laid down on the couch, my brunette locks flowing everywhere as my eyes closed a little, squirming to get comfortable. One long leg draped over the side of the couch, showing a little my length in my form, almost making me my normal height 5'8. I crossed my arms over my decent sized chest and started to dream.
