Height - 6'2
Weight - 245 lbs (Muscled build)
Descriptive
-----The young man is blessed not to show very much of his demon heritage. His nails grow out to a point which he files down carefully to make sure no one would notice. His large height for the land, and muscled build that came so naturally for him made him stand out not fully marking him as what he was. Wearing mostly cured leather skins made his looks more of the oddity of a hunter than the strangeness of a half breed. Simple day wolf pelts stitched together to make his tunic, pants, and he had done dealings with the nomads as his boots were cured bayganth one of the deadliest creatures in the land that the Nomads seemed able to tame. The dark colors fit one sneaking across the land, dark grays, and reds that would flow well with the landscape. Short blade cut hair seemed to dip down to his eye brows both a light dusty brown.
Powers
-----Can cast charms, and hexes on self, and others
----Regeneration
---Physical Strength
--Weak to demon targeting poisons, and spells
-Cold Iron Weakness

Ka'tero walked into his small clearing there were only three small huts, and a cave a bit away which he resided in. The soft crisp smell of rain water filled the air making sure any food outside could not be eaten anymore. The day time creatures made soft noises, birds that fed in the area their tiny scales glistening as they flew about. Soft calls of Day Wolves careful to avoid anywhere hominids roamed as they had learned the dangers of such creatures. Three families were near by all outcast like himself. They could all be packed up, and gone in a seconds notice if one of the demons were to come through each of them were marked for death. Ka'tero had never told the people why he was ousted they assumed he was simply a demon blooded man who had committed a crime against his demon liege. Even they would turn him in if they suspected he was half demon a true parentage. Which meant he was far more powerful than the pitiful charms he used to get by. He sold healing, and strength charms for food. Then death, and hexes for pure spring water which was highly illegal to trade with here. This land was unforgiving despite the splendor they lived in.
Even this clearing had lush, blue green plants that seemed to be thriving like the rest of this cursed forest. While it rained frequently here, the water even in the air was tainted with a poison making drinking it deadly for anything except the strange adapted plants. Most of which could be eaten with only a mild sickness, and others deadly so despite the budding fruits. None of it was truly safe to eat, but Ka'tero had put on a show eating some of the less dangerous fruit as if it was nothing which had scared the few that followed him till he shared some with the people his charms to remove the taint made the bland tasteless food edible. It was a show that he could lead here, and they were the ones who went out offering his services. He brought the three families a single water skin a day barely enough to survive on. To these people it was more than they thought possible. The springs here were all covered in a thick film of crust, and slime that was a deadly as eating the poisoned plants. Though they survived here it was barely, and that no one had died yet was a boon enough to make the people revere Ka'tero.
The forest had thick heavy leaves that were safe enough to much on to abate hunger, and thirst even though it had no nutrition to them. Surviving on them would be impossible the fruit from these common tries was edible if you could keep it in your stomach, but heavy as well as thick shelled even the little bit of juice was not usually worth the effort to crack them. they rustled in the wind, and rattled against each other when anyone pushed passed them making them a sort of warning system if one was listening for it. The clearing was made by ripping up the forest floor, and felling a few trees to make stumps around where the fire pit was placed. They had put everything they had pulled up, and piled it a little more than half a mile from the clearing using the area as a midden heap to keep anything searching for food out that way instead of in the center of their homes. They harvested hallucinogenic mushrooms that grew from the area to sell to those with the resources to afford such things. The strange mushrooms were useful to those who wanted to escape the world, but left the user dehydrated. They were fortunate that the local demon lord had a taste for them, and he left them alone as long as they harvested a small basket for him every month. It left them with very few to sell, but with him placated they had little fear unless they brought notice to themselves.
They were not offered any water, and not actually given permission to live here they were a careful lot. Even the demon lord of the area would pretend he did not know they were there as they were all marked for death. They were usually content to live under Ka'tero as he did not show the same traits most demon bloods had. He was not succumbing to the madness that effected most, and he had not taken anyone's daughters which they all knew if he changed his mind they would give him what he wanted. Anyone of them if they could survive without him would poison Ka'tero, and take his place if the opportunity presented itself. Ka'tero knew this, and never accepted charity from his followers knowing anything he ate very well could be his last if they learned a way to get water out here.
