Interest in learning

I don't know anything about system games to be honest. I would like to learn about these types of rps, and see how they are done and figure out how to do them. I am thus requesting if anyone would be willing to do a 1 v 1 system rp with me to help me learn how to do such a rp. If someone is willing to feel free to pm me, I will be willing to work out the idea for the rp with whom ever wishes to do this.

All DND because everyone plays minmaxed murder hobos instead of heroes like the book says.

Off hand I'd suggest Savage Worlds, since I am familiar with it.

Looking over this, I wondered why everyone else besides OP were pitching in, until I realized this had been a thread a year ago. Seeing as though that this turned into an open invite, would you be willing to let in another eager learner of a system-based play?

Hollow Earth Expedition is a good system. Designed for a cinematic roleplaying feel, with the setting of the pulp adventures set in the 1930s/1940s. I have been working on adapting this rule system into something that includes some bondage elements. If you are interested, let me know

I get your point Zeth, 3rd ed d&d ruined a whole generation of roleplayers, but you can't blame that on the game but on the players, I've seen murderhobos parties in systems that do not encourage that like vampire, call of cthulhu and a few other indies I can't recall names making me unwilling to join those groups. Anyway not here to advocate for d&d but to say I'm willing to learn/try/play any game/system chosen
