"Girl, seriously. You just need to get laid."
"Ren!" Hissed Ana, mouth dropped open in shock and anger. "Will you shut it!" Instead of looking properly shamed at her behavior, the other girl only shrugged and looked away with a look of calm disinterest.
"Just saying. You're ignoring one of the best things about being alive. I don't know what you're waiting for. You could have just gotten it over with at the party, with that guy who was all over you." And stumbling all over himself, Ana thought with a grimace. He had wandered over to Ana and nearly fell into her, before slurring that they would look good wrapped around each other. Ana promptly declined before fleeing to the other side of the room.
Running a hand through her bright pink hair, she sighed. That was the thing about sex in college: most of it was done while intoxicated, and with random strangers. And probably poorly, to boot. Ana knew that the first time usually wasn't a good one for the girl...But it would be so much easier to go ahead with if she knew the guy would kind of work with her a bit. Silently browsing that topic, her eyes flicked towards the door as soon as the Professor appeared. In an instant she was urging Ren to keep quiet again, grateful the man didn't hear any of her friend's comments.
Because she had a crush on this professor. It was naively stupid, and Ana knew that she would never act on it - no matter how often she thought about it. Today she watched as he started lecturing, following his hand movements and imagining when cupping her face for a kiss, or wrapping around her hips. Even so, her pen moved religious across her notebook to take notes, and she would even duck her head if they made eye contact, struggling to hide a blush. It was a nuisance more than anything, Ana told herself. If she ignored it she would go away, and then she would stop embarrassing herself. The fifty minutes went by all to quickly, and she began to pack up the rest of her things before heading off to the front of the lecture hall to hand in the most recent assignment. Per usual, Ana dressed to hide: she had a sweatshirt on that fell past her ass, sleeves pushed up. The only redeeming part to show a hint of her shape was the yoga pants she had paired with them, material clinging to her slender legs.
The paper rustled between her fingers as she walked up to the front of the room, depositing her work at the top before glancing up. Every time she saw him, she always thought the same thing: how handsome and confident he was, professional and intelligent. It was a sweet torture taking his class, but Ana was glad that she could have him as a professor. Hitching her backpack higher up on her shoulder, Ana offered a small, shy smile before uttering a quick "have a nice day, Professor," and turning to leave. None of their previous conversations had lasted any longer, mostly because Ana doubted she'd be able to make it without blushing or fidgeting.
