...So be ready and choose carefully." says the screen infront of your computer right now.
You don't why your screen froze up and the light from the bloody thing stole the light from your room and the outside. Or why everything but your computer and yourself momentously disappeared for a bit.
But you DO know, without any doubt or lack of certainty, that what the screen spoke about was true. Why you do so, you don't know and simply can't muster the will to question.
What the fuck did that...event(?) do to you?
You don't know and you think going to a proffessional would be a good choice right now. Someone to take a look at your mind and see what's wrong.
But you don't.
Simply because of the truth; that you don't have a lot of time and, in six months, you positively HAVE to be ready.
---------------------------------------------
This is how this is going to progress. From now on, this quest will begin in 5 stages:
1. Character sheet creation
2. Place and structure where you live
3. Career choice
4. Miscellaneous player actions each one taking up 1 month
5. At the sixth month you will shift to your name world! You're welcome.
And before anyone asks, yes, this has the potential for kink.
Name: Determines what you are called
Sex: Determines your gender.
Height: Roll a 1d20 under "Kinky new world". I will then added to 60 and translate that to your height in inches.
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/
Nationality: Where you are from. Determines what careers are available to you and how much they cost.
Here are the stats.
Strength:
Perception:
Endurance:
Charisma:
Intelligence:
Agility:
Luck:
Roll a 1d10 for all of them under "Kinky new world" using invisible castle again. if are going to roll at all, roll for every single stat.
A score of 10 in any of the fields represent the line between a normal person and peak human while something like a 4 in intelligence makes you a retard. Furthermore a 1 represents someone gravely impaired. As in, someone with a 1 in Intelligence would be considered to be a near vegetable.
Having a 0 in any stat means your dead. So, errr, do try to avoid that.
You people also get 100 points to spend on careers. Careers available and point cost will be determined by your nationality and stats. No Career list will be made but Career sheets will be made impromptu at the request of players.
For example.
Military
Line infantry
+2 Strength, Endurance and Perception.
+1 Agility
+1 Charisma
Pay: Varies from nation to nation.
Req: 4 Strength, 5 Endurance, 5 Perception, 4 Agility.
Cost: 60 points.
Pros: -Access to guns.
-Knowledge of fighting.
-Good money.
-Excellent stat bonuses
Cons: No access to a house; When you shift at the end of six months you will simply be transported with the stuff in your room or tent.
-Only a limited amount of time to get stuff in; soldiering requires long hours of work.
Military
Spec Ops
+1 Strength, Endurance and Perception
+1 Agility and Luck.
Pay: Varies from nation to nation but most certainly not chump change.
Req: -Line Infantry
- 6 Intelligence and 7 perception.
Cost: 40 Points
Pros: -Everything the infantry benefit from
-Connections
-Good pay
Cons: -Same as infantry
- You have even LESS free time to get stuff done. Spec Ops be intensive.
You only get to pick careers so long as they are related. As an adendum, you can pick up to TWO hobbies in any field which you didn't career in at half the cost with no requirements but without any of the bonuses.
Locations and houses are determine by how much you make in your job. Want a mansion? Well, you better be earning enough money to affort one.
After stage 3 I will roll to see how much of your home you take with you with the caveat that you live in a home big enough to warrant it. Unlike Mister Soldier boy above.[/color]
Hoh and this is a Quest, which means that ya'll be collectively be voting on the post that you want to apply to it.
Any questions? Then get to it!
