Rypheck Ghostwhisper

Age: 16
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 140 lbs
Build: Light, well muscled.
Hair/Eyes: Black/Grey
Job: Future Shaman of his tribe
Markings: Right ear peirced, right knee mangled.

Personality: Patient, Understanding, Calm, Warm, Caring, Giving of himself, Puts others first, Spiritual.

History:
Rypheck was born into the Ghostwhisper tribe. The day of his birth the Shaman saw who he was and the tribe started his training as soon as he was able to walk. He was much like a son to the shaman. The children of the tribe were raised communally, the mothers switching duties during the day and taking their young ones home at night. Jealousy wasn't common and cheating on ones spouse something that never happened. Rypheck was raised as the son of the shaman, though he knew his real parents, they were very proud and more than willing to give their son the honor of becoming the shaman of the tribe.

Ghostwhisper's are the worlds balance. They travel the planet and with the help of the spirits that speak to them they fix and right what is wrong. From droughts to wars they set things right. From diseases to possessions they can bring the soul and body back into balance. They are the worlds best healers, and they are the tribe that speaks best to the spirits that guide. Some of the tribe are able to speak to animals or trees, some see things, some can manipulate the elements, though the shaman can do all these things better than the rest of the tribe. The tribe isn't small, picking up those that wish to join them along the way, and letting go those that don't wish for the travel anymore, but always in balance. Only once did a tribe go to war with them, and that tribe lost miserably to the Ghostwhisper's abilities to speak to the planet and it's spirits.

When a person of the tribe comes across their life mate that shall be the only one they ever touch in a sexual way. They are brought up to keep their emotions and feelings in balance, and to know that one day they will find the person that compliments them best and will bring their balance. They never even touch themselves or experiment before they meet their mates, to come into the relationship pure and to learn with each other. Their has never been a case of a wife cheating on a husband or a pair of teens disappearing for a romp in the woods. They know that their mate, when found, will be perfect for them and they will never wish to be separated. Some find their mate outside of the tribe and stay with that tribe, some find their mate in another tribe and that person joins. There are the rare cases where the pair hate each other before hand, but in time, they too find that the person is that perfection they want, they just didn't know it.

Rypheck is already becoming better than his teacher. His abilities to manipulate fire stronger. His skill with the healing arts and knowledge of herbs and ability to mix them properly have made him a more skilled healer. He can already hear the whispers of the land though not able to really hear their words as the shaman can. The sense of danger about, of unnatural creatures or of predators watching, is a bit more acute. His master has thought him ready for his spirit journey for nearly a year now. However his mate has not been found. Without his mate he can not go on his spirit journey to make himself whole so he can be one with the world that is so desperately trying to speak to him.

Their are two reasons he's not yet found his mate. One is the attack on his body that has left him with a limp, he runs though a bit unsteady, and can still out do most when it comes to his stamina. In the cold he has some trouble with pain but works through it best he can and walking is harder on him than running as his muscles tend to tighten up. The second reason, so his master believes, is because his mate is not yet ready. A belief that his mate hasn't yet reached the right point in his life to be able to walk away or perhaps because his mate is needed in his own tribe still. For whatever reason, it is only recently that Rypheck has been given the vision of where he will find his mate, where the next pairing will take place.

Ideas~
His storyline is basically the same but how it expresses itself can be different.

First:
The tribe comes to a river, getting permission from the tribe nearby to hold their pairing ceremony. Those of the tribe toss a stick with something to signify it is theirs into the water. A mile down stream they run, and the sticks come paired. This is their mate, the person of their lives. Each pair goes off together and have their coming of age journey. This is usually a short trip, a week or so together. A few of the other tribe think it would be funny to toss something in as well. One of the sticks comes down stream and it is paired with Rypheck. When this is found out, the elders of both tribes agree that the journey must be taken, and that the laws of the Ghost tribe must be respected. The joke turns much serious for the other as he is virtually banished from his tribe and told he must go with Rypheck.

Second:
The vision of Rypheck's mate comes to him in a dream. The man is perfect to him and he can't help but love him before he meets him. His tribe travels to the other tribe, and he faces the reality that the man in his dreams is a far cry from the man he is meeting. He is cold, he is indifferent, and he wants nothing to do with the ghost tribe. His own tribe hates the Ghostwhispers but respects them and obeys them. They send Rypheck with his mate, not telling the man why he is going and not telling him that he is to never return. This man isn't aware of the meaning and displeased he must put up with the spiritual shaman when he doesn't believe in the spirits at all.

Third:
Rypheck finds his mates in a time where he isn't expecting them. Stumbling across them when he comes to a meeting of tribes to settle a land dispute that is bringing unbalance and fear to the area spread but evil spirits. He finds it when he comes to a pair of twins, warrior twins that are the best of their tribe. He is hit hard with it when he touches them in greeting and fears when he realizes it's not one of them, but both. This is a prophecy that has dark meaning that is passed from shaman to shaman. Rypheck knows of it, and knows that the three must partake in his coming of age ceremony. He knows that this means that the world is coming into a great war and the evil of the planet is going to try and take hold some how. One of the twins is strong willed, easily angered, and harsh. The other twin is a bit more open but still of a dominant personality. The three become one, the twins finally coming to terms with their love for each other not being totally brotherly, and that their love to Rypheck is as strong as their love for each other.

Clarien Leander

Age: 19
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 160 lbs
Build: Medium, well muscled.
Hair/Eyes: Black/Hazel
Job: Horse Breeder and Racetrack Owner.
Markings: None

Personality: Hard to anger, Rarely shows true emotions, Gaurded, Friendly, Quiet, Soft spoken.
Likes: Older men, Horses, Racing, Working in his stables, Cats.
Dislikes: People who speak ill of his mother, Mice, His late brother.

History:
Clarien Leander was born to a highly wealthy country nobility family. His mother had been the last of her line, and when marrying his father the pair became the most wealthy and powerful country family there was. His father was a horse breeder of long lineage and the families horses are considered the worlds best by many. The family owns the top race track in the country. His mother was a farmer, and her lands are still the main providers for the country, though now owned by the government. Before the sale of some land they had the largest private ownership of land.

Merriam and Ronald were happily married for a short time before James was born. It was another six years before Clarien was born. However James was by far the favored of the sons. This was likely because of the young man's adoration of racing that much of the families income thrived on in the race tracks. This was because James was addicted to gambling, not because of his love of the horses. Clarien had grown a deep love for horses and quietly grew an eye to pick out the winners. James kept this a jealous secret to win his bets, never letting their father know and taking credit for his "eye." Clarien loved his bother so never spoke up to admonish it.

Ronald Leander kept Clarien at arms length, his mother made up for this. Merriam loved her youngest son and taught him everything she knew. From how to tell a good crop, to how to brush a horse, how to gain the trust of the working class, to how to manage people and a household. She taught him to respect his elders, how to keep a level head and not lash out as James often did when he lost a bet. Clarien was the balance in the family as his mother brought him up.

These teachings got hammered home when Ronald died. Clarien became very controlled over his emotions, not wanting to show his complete disdain for his brothers actions and to keep his mother from worry. At 12 years old, Clarien had been left to watch his brother build a hotel in an economy that needed anything but a casino and hotel at the farthest place where those with the money to spend would want to visit, in a place where none really liked to go, and even the poor wouldn't be able to get to because of it's far away placement. He watched James sell off all the lands that their mother had brought to the family. He watched as the hotel, which he had adamantly spoken against, tanked completely as he foretold it would. He watched as the horses he loved were sold off in spite because of his brothers hatred for his little brothers skills with them.

Clarien was a renown rider before his father had passed. Already having been a jockey in a few races that won on a horse he picked himself. His father had just been starting to think that Clarien had the eye his brother had always been using. He had just started to trust him. Ronald had just bought a few horses from abroad to bring into the breeding stock, and had planned on giving them to Clarien for his birthday to choose to breed how he wanted. When his brother started selling his horses when he was 15, he disappeared from sight.

He had been the main income for the family. His races, his horses, his breeding, his selling, and when the hotel failed his brother took that from him to try and turn a profit since, in his mind, someone so young couldn't possibly know more than he did. His brother nearly drove that into the ground but Clarien managed to hide his favorites. As his brother descended his horses were hidden. Brought to a different place, hidden, bred, and kept a quiet secret as he used the excuse that he and his brother didn't get along to hide himself away. This was fine with his brother and the careful swapping of horses, the careful breeding, and the careful hiding in his own private stable kept the core, the best, of the horses hidden.

This was the small manor in which it was just him and his mother. She was happy there, moving about and keeping house for just them with only one servant and one person to work the grounds with Clarien. There the horses were seen to, the nearby farm providing them everything they needed and where Clarien's reputation as a well mannered, kind, and very giving noble. Those around him adored him and respected him. He grew there. He had to work hard to keep his horses healthy, alive, properly trained.

This was also the place that Merriam started to loose her sense of self. She often spoke to herself, as if talking to her late husband. She spoke of places and things that had long been out of the family. She spoke of her eldest son in ways that weren't always true. She had lost touch with reality in many ways and was slowly getting worse though Clarien didn't let her suffer. She acted as if nothing was wrong though her memory was starting to slip on the recent events. He made sure she was taken care of and gently corrected her wrongs.

When his brother died, he already had a head start at rebuilding their family. Two years of his passion kept quiet and brought to the small summer home, paid off. His brothers death came and within months his family's horses were back to winning races. The young Clarien didn't ride anymore; he was too tall now, too stocky, too heavy, but it worked well to teach horses stamina. He watched from the side lines, avoided contacts with most nobles, as he felt the shame hadn't been shunned properly yet. The hotel was broken down, sold for parts and pieces for the highly valuable materials that were in it: marble, furniture, paintings, fire places, stone, appliances, wood, everything. It made back nearly 3/4ths of the price of the hotel and brought money back to his family which he used to buy horses back and buy his mothers childhood home back.

The family is still barely making profit, as it is all being spent to rebuild what had been lost, but the hard work is the quiet talk of the country for the skilled management and shrewd business sense of the young Lord rebuilding his family's name. To the city his family was fodder and spoken of poorly. With the recent announcement of a building of a race track just outside of the big city so both country and city would have free access to the beautiful horses and small casino that was being attached to it, his family name was starting to be talked of positively once more. It would be then that Clairen decided he could come out of hiding. It would still be two years before the track would be fully operational. The announcement had been made months before, but he was coming to the party finally, with his mother a very different young man, both physically and emotionally.

He has made it his goal to recreate his name in the image he wanted it to be, and that would probably bring the attention of some powerful people.

Ideas~
Would prefer people of his station please, will make exceptions for good story ideas. Victorian-Steam Punk-Industrial Age.

First:
The most powerful man in the city nearby city has always loved the Leander horses and racetrack. When Clarien returns he instantly takes a shine to him. Moving to befriend him and get to know the younger man and finding himself falling in love but is unsure of the guarded Clarien's feelings. When one of the mans friends suggests that Clarien might just be using him for his power he moves himself to another place, only to find that Clarien follows. Clarien tries to open to the man he has fallen in love with, but has trouble expressing his feelings and is unsure of how to do so. This leads to a misunderstanding and they break off contact for a while, later on they bump into each other at a party and Clarien finds himself unable to face the only person he's ever loved. Annoyed by the snub of Clarien the man follows him where things are sorted out and they start over. This is a very flexible idea and can go in many directions. Perhaps the friend wants Clarien, perhaps the man becomes engaged somewhere along the line to a woman, multiple ideas could work into this.

Second:
Clarien's brother had been engaged when he killed himself and ties were broken off for a while. Clarien comes to this family after that absence and though he doesn't express interest in marrying the woman he strikes up a friendship with her brother. This eventually develops into something where sparks fly between them but both are unsure of how to continue the relationship as neither are sure if it would go beyond the sparks. Clarien is also afraid of the intensity of his feelings and starts trying to distance himself from the man that makes his head scramble. Things get a little rocky but eventually things come out for the better.

Marcus Davenport
(One of my few Dominant men and it takes an awesome idea to be inspired to play him. Time period can shift.)

Age: 32
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 210 lbs
Build: Medium, well muscled.
Hair/Eyes: Black/Black
Job: President of large corporation.
Markings: V shaped scar under left eye, large scar across chest, scar back of right knee.

Personality: Cold, Calulating, Manipulative, Controling, Dark, Ruthless, Overbearing, Giving, Demanding, Complex.

History: (Tampering with the idea of a traditional vampire role for him. If you have a good idea we can run with it.)

Little is known about Marcus growing up. He's never really told anyone. No one knows about his parents, or if they are around, no one knows how he did in school, no one can remember if he ever went to college even though he has a degree framed on his wall. From the moment he graduated college his life seemed to have stopped. He didn't talk about anything from before that time. Never a "good ol' day" or a reason for the scar under his eye. Never an interesting story or amusing anecdote from his childhood. Most of his lovers were never even aware of this.

The only one who knew Marcus before he became the high powered man of wealth he was now was Jairdan. Jairdan had come to him when he was still in college, still in the fighting rings making his money ten years ago. He remembered how Marcus got that scar, fighting for him. Marcus had "claimed" Jair as his prize after a particularly bloody and vicious fight with Jair's john. Jair had only been sixteen at the time. Marcus sort of saved him. Gave him a home, a safe place to live, someone who cared for him even if Marcus never smiled or said nice things. Jair was sheltered in Marcus' arms and protected.

Marcus paid the bills and went to school, often working 80 or more hours on top of school work, rarely sleeping more than three hours and always exhausted but never showing it. He was an intern at a powerful company and working his way through the ranks as he worked at his college degree and it taught him more about business. The fighting came after that, to subsidize paying for his own place and for all the extras in his life, as well as good medical insurance. Once he graduated college he left behind the fighting rings.

Marcus paid for everything Jair wanted and needed. Jair cared for him deeply because of that. He even got himself through college on the others dime. Marcus didn't seem to mind at all and was pleased that he was helping Jair become the person he always wanted to be, that he got him out of the slums and that horrible situation. That was the sweetness to Marcus that no one in his business practices saw. If you could call it sweetness. Marcus rarely showed more than a kind touch, never said words of endearment, and Jair only recalled a few times in his many years with him seeing a smile. Marcus was a cold man, giving and doting in his weird way, but cold.

Jairdan left Marcus when he moved. It broke the older man's heart but it was never shown. He left the one he loved so dearly go, seeing the signs that the young man was ready to move on without him. He had a new business to work with and was doing it perfectly well. He was starting to regret not really knowing how to cook which lead to a long list of places that delivered on his fridge along with menus tucked into one of the drawers of his kitchen table. His house was modest, not too big, perfect size for two people with a great yard, but it was just him. With his penchant for the darker things in bed he doesn't just go out and date. It wasn't his style anyway but one day he would find himself just the right little "pet" to make him feel at home again.
