Jeffery Cadence walked down the stairs of the two story house. He wore a simple black T-shirt, a pair of loose fitting jeans, and his favorite chain necklace. The simple attire belied the fact his parents ran an international company, which one day would be passed down to him. Collage was his only obligation as of now, and summer break had left that behind. Not to mention both parents leaving for a few weeks to consult with some international business men... Jeffery could care less. They were gone and he had the house to himself. Well, besides his older sister, but he didn't worry about her.
The young man stood at an average 5'6" with barely any meat on his bones so to say. His skinny body left him to comments of being weak, but why would one need brawn? He was second in his class, and he was a bit too proud off his mental strengths. He could come off as a jerk, but he didn't really care. His blue eyes off set his long (by a guys standard), black hair. Pale skin reflected his time inside.
The thing by the door shocked him, or what really happened, he walked into it. A huge brown shipping box lay I front of the door, a note attached read:
"Dear Jeffery.
Your mother and I left you this as a going away present, be back later this month.
Love, your father."
Jeffery rolled his eyes and grabbed a box opener. A few quick slices revealed a flat screen TV. He smiled and hauled it up to his room and began to fumble with the wires.
