Integra
Integra interlaced her fingers together and placed her elbows on the edge of desk before leaning forward slightly. In front of her was Seras and Alucard. Seras was perusing a sheet of paper she'd been handed.
"Egypt?"
Seras finally said glancing up in surprise. "Yes. Apparently there have been a series of violent, gruesome murders and disappearances. There have been no clues left behind that the police could find. Based on the reports that I've seen I'm certain that whatever is causing the trouble is not human." she said peering at them over the rims of her glasses. "I want you two to fly out, investigate and put an end to whatever it is, understand?" she said without moving.
"Yes ma'am" seras replied dutifully.
"I would prefer this to be handled quickly and quietly. Keep damage to a minimum." she said closing her eyes for a moment.
Seras glanced to the side at Alucard "Yeah, right...." she thought with a mental sigh. Quick? Most likely. Quietly? Possible. Minimal damage? Impossible. "Well...." she thought trailing off. They might not cause much damage on this assignment. It's not like they were going to be in the middle of a town or city, they were going to be out in the desert. "Oh god, what if he actually destroys a pyramid??" she thought horrified. Even damaging one of them could possibly lead to disaster. She groaned and buried her face in her hands shaking her head back and forth slowly. "Impossible." she thought. She was in trouble but then, she was regularly in some form of trouble almost daily. She let out a sigh.
"If you're quite done fretting, seras...." Integra cut in trailing off. Realizing she was still being briefed she raised her head "Ah, yeah, sorry bout that." she replied hastily. "You two are to head out as soon as possible. As in, you should have been out of that door and on your way ten minutes ago." she said leaning back in her chair.
And with that, they turned to leave.
"Hmmmmm" she murmured to herself in the silence of her office.
