Ok so hello peoples of bluemoon! My name is Blackknight and I'm kinda new here. I've rp'd quite a bit but not here before. I heard about it from someone, can't quite remember where from, and thought I'd give it a go, so here I am. So, here are some uninteresting facts about me. I'm 21, I'm from England and I love to write, as I'm sure just about everyone does on here. The idea behind the name blackknight is a strange one. I've started writing a few stories from the aspect of the bad guy and I've kinda only just realised how much fun it can be playing as the bad guy. Henceforth I chose the name blackknight because a black knight is a typical evil knight. Oh and I apparently use fancy words like henceforth.
So with that boring little tidbit outta the way I should get onto what kind of RP's I like to do. The easiest way to some it up is that I like longterm, detailed romantic rp's. I can do the occasional non romantic rp, but I always come back to the more romantic stuff. I guess I'm just a sucker for a happily ever after. I also like to play as the bad guy, as I mentioned, however I don't wanna be the kinda bad guy who's like 'Haha, Ima come rape you and do nasty things to you.' Obviously there's gonna be nasty things, the guy's evil, but I don't like the idea of rape rp's. Don't really see the whole appeal if I'm being honest. Although I will say that I am willing to try most things once. I won't say no to something that's not the type of RP I said I like, I'll at least give it a go.
I've noticed people generally have rules as to what they want from an RP, so I guess I should have some, altough they're probably the same as most peoples.
1 - Perhaps the most important for me is that people are grammatically correct. Nothing kills the mood and any immersion like a load of spelling mistakes. So I would please appreciate it if people checked their spelling and I'll do the same.
2 - Size doesn't matter. Well in some circumstances it does, but for the length of an rp post I'm not gonna be picky. A nice average would be about two paragraphs, but as long as the content of the post is good, I'm not gonna be too fussed. I understand that it's not always possible to write a massive, super detailed post.
3 - Don't just quit on me. I won't just quit on you, I'll let you know if there's a problem or if I'm gonna take an exceptionally long time with a post, but I'll not drop an RP with telling and trying to work out any issues. That said, I must point out that I don't have a particular schedule. I RP as and when I can. I might read your post one day, but not be able to reply till the next day or even later, so please don't peter me and just know that I'll always reply as soon as possible.
A Kingdom of Bones
So the idea for this rp is that was the son of a tyrant king. His father was overthrown and his family shunned. His mother and sister were killed by bandits but he escaped and stumbled upon a small group of necromancers, who saw he had the potential to wield magic. They took him in and raised him, teaching him their ways. He learned their magic, gathering as much power so that he might avenge the death of his mother and sister and reclaim the kingdom. To gain even more power he makes a deal with a demon. The story is pretty open, your character could be a fellow necromancer, a woman who joins his side, seeking to be his queen, or even a demoness who he makes the deal with. There are a few ways to go with this so let me know what you think and if you have any thoughts on it.
Scourge of the west.
So the idea for this one is basically cowboys and vampires. My character is a vampire, centuries old who came to the west after his wife, another vampire, was killed. He then became an outlaw, feeding on blood to increase his powers, revealing in the chaos and death. Then he meets your character. She realises who my character is and sees an escape from her life, an opportunity for adventure. Your character could be anyone you want, a naive young girl wanting to escape a boring life, or a tavern wench wanting to escape the grip of the owner. Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas.
The dead land.
So this is a zombie apocalypse rp but set either fifty or a hundred years after the initial outbreak. Instead of rotting away the zombies began to evolve in small ways, developing better senses, their bones strengthening, especially the skull, and many more smaller ways. Some even say they have found a way of breeding, which is why there is always more zombies. My character is a ranger/hunter for a small village that has fortified itself and is trying to maintain their way of life. Your character could be another hunter, or perhaps a teacher or nurse. Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas.
I'm reluctant to put fandoms on here simply because I don't like to rp as somebody else's character. If the plot is good enough then I could be convinced to, however I much prefer to create my own character for that universe, with there own adventures and stories etc.
