December 2009, nine months since the incident in Kijuju and the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, or BSAA for short had been busy attacking the Tricell Pharmaceutical Company publically bringing them to justice for their crimes. What was left of Tricell now resided in Russia, with the Russian goverment denying the BSAA acess to their lands Tricell was free to operate in Russia without BSAA interuption. Though the BSAA were far to determined to let this stop them in their mission and had allready infiltrated their agents into Russia, the first of which was Chris Redfield who had been busy and allready located the secret Tricell facillity hidden deep in the Ural Mountains. In a the Ural village of Pokcha Chris had set up a makeshift base of operations in a old farm house for the BSAA's investigation. Chris lay on a old bed as he awaited the rest of his team to arrive. He wore many layers to help him stay warm in the old house as winter set in and a cold wind blew through mountainous region. With the Russian authoritys on the alert for any possible BSAA intruders it would be hard for the rest of Chris's team to arrive. A team specially selected to due to their experiance dealing with the Las Plagas parasites.
Since his arrival in Russia Captain Joshua Stone had found it hard to keep himself inconspicuous being a black african in a predominantly white nation. Josh had also struggled to adjust to the climate, being used to the heat of the Africa Josh wasnt enjoying the Russian winter. Josh had managed to make his way to Pokcha poseing as a tourist with a keen interest in mountaineering which had led him to the Urals seeking a new challenge. As he arrived in Pokcha he was quick to make his way to the old farmhouse Chris had told him about. "Chris?... Chris?!.." Josh shouted as he entered the house. Chris was quick to make his pressence known as he rushed from his bed and down to Josh. "Hey Josh, glad you could make it.." Chris said with a smile as he greeted Josh with open arms. Josh too smiled as he hugged Chris. "Well this is defiantly different to Africa.." Josh joked playfully as he stepped back from Chris. "Too cold huh?.." Chris replied with a grin. "Yes, very!.. Brrrr... how can people live out here!.." Josh replied.
With the Russian goverment keen to keep the BSAA out of Russia a special millitary force had been set up to ensure the BSAA were kept out of Russia and away from Tricell. Captain Demetri Petrovic was the man incharge of this new force. His men personally guarded the Tricell facillity aswell as police all ways into the country. Captain Demetri Petrovic was a Russian millitary veteran who wore a red beret with pride. He personally over saw the security of the Tricell facillty and the surrounding areas. Inside the facillity Tricell researchers and scientist worked hard deveolping the Las Plagas parasite aswell as other experiments, two of which were specifically important. The first was an experiment to combine the Gene virus and a Las Plagas Master Plaga parasite and the other was a project espacially for the Russian goverment which used a sample of Albert Wesker's DNA obtained by Excella Gionne. The experiment was intent on creating powerfull soldiers with the power's of Albert Wesker who could be controlled.
