A Tale of Two Sisters (Riven & Ironic <3)

It was the classic tale of two sisters. One was the perfect child - polite, kind, respectful, smart, and outgoing. The other was a rebel with an attitude. They didn't have a bad relationship, but they were far from best friends either. Never would you have thought that a pair of twins could be so drastically different from one another. They were like night and day, good and evil, fire and ice, but they were almost identical. This was going to be an interesting family vacation...

Amber Chambers and her sister, Kortney Chambers just turned eighteen last week when school ended. They had both graduated and as a reward for their hard work, they were being treated to a family vacation at the beach! They were both so excited to be going, but there was one minor detail that neither seemed too thrilled about. Their parents could only afford one bedroom, so the two of them would have to share a bed. Of course, the girls weren't told that until a couple of hours ago after they had arrived at the hotel. Though they had groaned about it, neither put up much of a fuss. It was late by the time that they arrived and they just wanted to get some sleep.

Amber, the older of the two by ten whole minutes, was the 'good one'. She had graduated with a perfect grade point average and had even started earning college credits last year when she and her sister were Juniors. She had been scouted by a number of colleges and had her pick of three that wanted to offer her a full scholarship. She was going to take a year off, though, while she decided what it was that she wanted to go for. She had a couple of ideas, but needed time to narrow her scope.

In truth, the idea of actually going away to college scared the Hell out of Amber. While she was the family's perfect little angel, she did harbor one terribly dark secret that would have shocked and disgusted her family. Amber, the perfect child, was a lesbian and she desperately lusted for her own twin sister. Who wouldn't? Kortney was beautiful and she didn't let herself get bogged down with things like expectations or responsibility. In Amber's eyes, Kortney was everything that she wanted to be. The 'prefect child' was, in truth, slightly jealous of her rebellious twin. Amber even often dreamed what it would be like to live in Kortney's shoes and throw away all inhibitions. It was something that Amber could never bring herself to actually do, though.

Now, as the clock stuck midnight, Amber was lying awake beside her sister in bed. She would normally sleep nude, but seeing as she was sharing a bed with her sister and her parents were in the same room, Amber had slipped on a plain white tee-shirt that was long enough to hang down to her knees and a pair of red silk panties. She couldn't fall asleep. Amber had dreamed of sleeping with Kortney for so long, but never like this. The longer that she laid there, the more Amber thought about Kortney's carefree attitude toward life and the more that she thought about it, the more that she wanted to do it. She wanted to throw caution to the wind and take what she wanted.

An hour later, one o'clock, nothing had changed. Amber still struggled to sleep but it never came. Another hour; two o'clock. Still nothing; only more and more desire to take life by the horns and go for the gold.

By three o'clock, in a combination of resolve and sexual frustration from the thoughts going through her head and the inability to pleasure herself, Amber rolled over on her side to face Kortney. Her hand reached out to brush against her sister's shoulder. "Kortney," Amber barely whispered just to see if Kortney was still awake. Amber did not need to check to see if her parents were asleep. They both went to bed early every night. There was no way in Hell that they were still up.

A vacation... Wow, this never seemed to happen for the family, and even though Kortney was rebellious and carefree, she still had a good heart and appreciated all of the difficulties that their parents endured for the both of them; Kortney and Amber, that is. Ultimately, Kortney already knew that this vacation would be one to remember, even if it meant being stuck in the same bed with her sister. Kortney could only roll her eyes in disgust about the situation, never being too fond of her. Of course, she loved her sister, but even though they were twins did not automatically mean that they would have to share the same personality and traits. Sometimes, Kortney found herself feeling saddened of the situation the two were in, wanting to become closer to her sister and be like the happy twins she always notices on television and in public, but that would never happen; not even in a million years.

As they rode in their Jeep Cherokee, Kortney rolled her back window down and let the wind flow through her hair, staring at the scenery as they came close to the beach, admiring the way the sun sparkles on the water similar to sequins on a prom dress in the spot light. Amber was sitting right besides her, her head phones placed inside her ear and listening to music on full blast, her head bobbing up and down to the beat. Kortney only chuckled and shook her head, turning her head back into the direction of the water. Oh, how she wished she payed attention in school and actually tried her hardest to do as good as her sister, wanting to get the same praise and approval she got. Hell, she was even surprised that she managed to graduate from High School, but she would have it rough in college, having to learn everything over again.

Finally what seemed like hours, they arrive to the hotel that they would be staying at. As the family walked together into their room, they decided since it was so late in the night they would do everything at the beach the next day. The girls groaned at this, but knew that their parents were right, and it would be best to save their energy for the morning, but little did Kortney know all of her energy would be used that night...

Kortney walked into the bathroom and closed it behind her, looking into the mirror and fixing some smears of makeup on her face. She sighed heavily before grabbing her toothbrush, brushing her teeth in a quick manner, and afterwards washed her face to rid of the caked on makeup. She dug through her bag that she brought with her on the trip and pulled out a pair of purple shorts and a white tank top, her black zebra striped bra peaking through slightly, but she did not care. She wore matching panties that had lace surrounding it, fitting snug on her petite figure. She tucked her dirty clothes into a separate pocket in her bag, walking out of the bathroom and setting her bag alongside the bed.

As she crawled into the same bed her sister was already in, she gave a soft sigh of annoyance, already feeling bothered by her presence. Even though the two barely talked, she had this weird feeling of being annoyed whenever she was around her sister, she did not understand why, but it was probably just a sister thing. She curled up into the covers before all of the lights shut off, leaving the room with a dim glow from the window with the moonlight hovering in. Her back was facing Amber as her eyes scanned the wall, already sensing that this would be a tough night for the two of them.

Feeling Amber roll around throughout the night, it also kept Kortney up too. She wondered if her parents heard her continuous rustling through the night, but she remembered that they were heavy sleepers, barely waking up to nearly anything. Soon she grew tired of her rustling and was about to decide to sleep on the floor, until Amber's face turned into Kortneys direction, her sisters breath being felt on her back, sending awkward goosebumps on her body.

Kortney turned around to face her sister, sighing as she rolled over. "What is it Amber? It's late and you're keeping me up, you need to get some sleep you douche." Kortney's tongue was sharp and bitter, not being in the mood for her shenanigans.
