With a soft sigh, a young woman shifted around the open book in front of her. She'd never really been good with Biology, and couldn't exactly say, that she found it an accelerating read. But she pushed her glass' in place, and focused her bright blue eyes back down on the black text, pulling herself together. The kantina was quite loud around this time, every student in the hall getting their meals, and swallowing them down. Cassandra herself, hadn't even touched her's. As soon as she sat down, her face dove into er book. She had something to read for tomorrow, and knew she wouldn't have a lot of time at home, it being her day to take chores around the house. Her father wasn't there, being stationed in Africa, where he worked as a teacher and doctor, so it was only her and her mother. And her mother, being a very busy woman, didn't always have time to do the chores, so Cassandra had to help. Not that the girl would mind, if she didn't have this many pages of homework. But she wasn't a quick reader, especially not when it came to Biology. So she had to get as much work in, at school, as she could.
She knew, that she was making herself a target like this. But she was always hopeful to not be noticed, always shifting the table she sat with, finding the ones that where empty, and out of the way. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
It was strange, how her life at school had taken a sudden shift, the last few years. Ever since declining an invitation to become Lary's girl, she'd become a victim of bullying. He didn't take rejection very well. It was only him, at first. But it had only gotten worse with time, becoming more and more secluded from the rest of the students, due to her mother's position.
Had her mother not been the principal, had she not declined Lary and had she worked a little less in her classes, everything was different. She was a well shaped, young girl, having grown curves in all the right places. An impressive bust, and swaying hips, mixed together with an almost always smiling face, made her a sweet little girl. Now, she smiled so rarely. She had long blond hair, reaching down to the middle of her back, with a small, pink, click-on bow. She could've been one of the main attractions for boys. But she'd never returned that interest. Her interests lay elsewhere. In the showers, she had to contain herself from staring down the other girls, and make even more of a target of herself. She'd done that once, to a girl in particular, who wasn't even in her class. A girl, a bit of an outcast like herself. All until she'd started joining in on the bullying, when Cassandra had accidentally stared her down in the showers, and had a look too many at the special member between her legs. It had been torture since then. Cassandra found the woman gorgeous, but now she'd become a bully as well, hunting on Cassandra. It didn't hurt as much, when others did it. But whenever -she- bullied her.. It hurt, immensely.
