Evan sighed. Why would anyone want to live here? It was rather grungy, smelly and there were people selling themselves on the street! But this is where his sister had last been seen, so he was obliged to look here. The disguised angel pulled out a phone like object from his pocket, and looked at the screen. Then he looked up at the building he was standing in front of, and back at the screen once more. He shook his head. Why would his sister be in a building he believed was called a 'brothel' by the humans. The item, which was essentially a tracker, beeped softly, signalling it's target was close by. Calming himself, Evan opened the door and stepped inside.
Inside it was surprisingly clean, or looked it at least. A receptionist sat at a desk, complete with phone and computer, as well as other desk paraphernalia. His eye caught movement, and he swivelled to look. A rather pleased looking man was straightening his tie, before walking briskly out a side door. Seeing doors on either side of the one the man walked out of, Evan walked past the receptionist who stopped him, and asked why he was here. Wearing shabby overalls that he had picked up and made to look like an average repairman, Evan said smoothly. "Someone said something about the light? I'm the one they sent". It was lying, but not really. Someone probably had said 'God' or invoked a deity, or any one of the various holy being people believed in. And he had been sent. The receptionist simply nodded, and sat down again, not caring. Walking with a confident stride, Evan knocked on the door he had seen the man leave. It might not lead him directly to his sister, but it would be a start.
