Chances were that the experiment wasn't supposed to result in the mess that was all over the lab. It probably wasn't meant to get goo and slime and fluids all over the person conducting it either. For that matter, it probably wasn't supposed to happen quite like this at all.

Lily stood in the middle of a magical circle, one that she would have sworn she'd gotten perfectly right. The sigils were all in place. everything had been drawn in using the correct mixture with the correct brush. Lily had even brought along some extra protective materials: things that she'd purchased off the street to warn off such things. The experiment should have simply added another layer of protection onto the creature.

"I didn't even want to help with this," muttered Lily. the slime and goo made her feel particularly surly, as she could see another long soak in the magical springs in her near future. Not to mention the stern lecture that her superiors would doubtless have ready for the sorceress who'd failed here. She sighed, piercing through the muck to see if anything had survived.

"Maybe I can just sweep the whole thing under the rug," she mumbled, leaning forward to peer. Couldn't leave the protective circle, just in case. The creature was already resistant to spells, and Lily wasn't exactly the most powerful sorceress, obviously. She licked her lips as she strained to see just what had survived her latest mistake.

And what would have survived would turn out to be rather interesting. The bits of goo and slime soon coming to life. Soon pulling itself together, bringing bits and pieces of the lab along with her. Whether it be a piece of glass, paper, or some of Lily's hair. But yet, within seconds, every bit of that goop had managed to collect into a single pile. Now building itself into a stack.

The clear goo began to take color now. Picking up the trait from Lily's hair, as it reshaped itself into a near perfect clone of the sorceress. Mind you, it hadn't figured out how to make itself look human. It still appeared to be a slime, but at least it had a slime on its lip.

"That was fun," Came the wispy voice, the creature obviously mutated a bit more from the spell than could have been anticipated. As the being took its first clumsy steps. Headed towards the sorceress before her. Intent on feeling the woman. Perhaps, it would be possible for her to overpower her now.

"Okay, that's a little weird," muttered Lily. She reflexively took a step backward, not thinking of the protective circle for now. A slime monster. Of course it would be a slime monster; those were quite sturdy, quite able to take a good hit or so. Just add on the magical resistances and you'd have an unstoppable creature. But seeing it take her shape unnerved Lily, and she already felt uneasy. certainly didn't help that the creature kept eye-balling her.

"What's so fun about it?" she demanded, waving a hand at the creature. Maybe she should attack it? Not that anything would do a whole lot of good, not with the level of protection on this. Best to hold out in the circle till it gets bored. Yes, that should work. Lily nodded as she dragged her foot back in, not noticing the smudging the circle was already getting from her moving about. "And, and you need to obey me! I am your master and you should listen to me!'

Because she obviously sounded in control of the situation.

"A little weird?" The slime creature spoke, looking at bit confused at the first. Eyeing the woman for a moment, before closing its eyes. Thinking for a moment as it pondered just what it wanted to do. The piece of hair caught in its slime becoming a part of its own being. Taking as much as she could from it, and maybe, access to something she might not have had.

It was attached to this... other mind. Taking away from it, no, she could from it. Reveling in the information, and then, a shocked look on her face. Her eyes opening wide, as she vanished down into a puddle.

It didn't take long for the slime to disable the girl. Slime quickly crawling along the floor in trails. Grabbing at the sorceress, and dragging her down onto the ground. Binding her to the ground, while the rest of the slime's body caught up. Reforming her upper half, and peaking over the sorceress. Who's barrier had failed her considerable, "What's wrong?" It simply asked, lost in the sorceress's gaze. Slimy hands moving to touch the woman's body. Feeling her out for the first time.

"Yeah, because you look like me," explained Lily, licking her lips. This was definitely not good. The thing should be more docile than this, more willing to listen to her. This was not going to end well for her, and not just because of lectures and punishments.

Lily felt the puddle move toward her, and tried to send off a spell in defense, which failed. The creation dragged Lily down, and the sorceress felt her limbs being bound, held in place by the bits of slime. then the upper half returned, looming over Lily, looking down at her. It was going to eat her, she just knew it. Panic began to fill her, making Lily thrash and struggle against the slime that held her down.

"What's wrong is that you're not... hey!" Lily tried to jerk out of the slime's way. Those gooey bits were starting to run along Lily's body, feeling out her shape. Soon it would touch areas that Lily would rather not have touched by a slime. Worse, the whole thing felt sticky, almost unpleasantly so. "Stop that!"

Lily tried in vain to activate the wards, but of course the circle had already failed. the girl did little besides waste more energy and effort.
