He hadn't meant to let Sylar get the upper hand but Nathan had been so desperate to do the right thing and set everything straight. He'd let down his guard and Sylar had managed to take advantage of that and cut his throat, ending his life before he'd had a chance to make things right with his family. It was almost tragic. No, it was tragic and now it was over. All over for him. Darkness. And then he was alive again...but not quite...and it was confusing because he couldn't figure out what was wrong with him, it was almost as though he had been pulled into someone's body. A body that wasn't his own and yet it felt as though he belonged there for some reason. What was going on?
Nathan opened his eyes to find himself in some sort of trailer and his brow furrowed, not sure what he was doing here, he didn't recognize this place at all. So he let himself out of the confined space and looked around, taking in his surroundings. A carnival? Nathan had a bad feeling about this place and wanted to get out of here and the next instant he found himself flying up into the air with no particular direction in mind. He just followed his instincts and landed right outside Peter's apartment, recognizing the place instantly and a feeling of wanting to be comforted swept through him. Nathan needed his brother more than anything and he felt those deepset feelings he'd hidden from the other surface once again as he thought about Peter.
It had been the first time Peter had thought he could fly and stepped off the roof. Nathan's heart had plummeted and he had acted without a second thought, diving after his brother to levitate them into the air, using his gift as he held Peter in his arms. And that had been the moment something had changed inside him. That had been the moment Nathan had wanted to kiss his brother and he had forever beat himself up over that feeling, of all things why did he feel this way about his own brother?! He'd had dreams afterward every night about fucking Peter and having Peter fuck him and he had needed to take a cold shower afterward to get rid of his arousal. This in turn made him want to stay away from Peter.
To have nothing to do with him and he thought he'd succeeded at first until fate had once more put them together again. But that was in the past. He hadn't had those feelings for Peter in such a long time. In fact he'd thought he'd lost them for good and now they were resurfacing for some reason and he couldn't explain why. But the feelings were getting stronger and stronger and he didn't know how long he would be able to keep them hidden. He had to take his mind off it. Nathan shook his head as he knocked on the door, hoping Peter would be in and would let him come in. "Peter? It's me. Let me in, will you?" He called out, wanting Peter to be in so desperately he thought he might die if he wasn't there.
Back in Matt Parkman's mind, Sylar was growling his annoyance. He wanted out and wanted more than anything to return to his own body. But the blasted cop had somehow managed to keep him prisoner in his own fucking mind, preventing him from getting back to his real body. Who the hell did that?! Keeping his calm just barely Sylar mulled things over in his head. If he could take control of Parkman's body he would have a chance at finally getting his own body back. And he would have a bargaining chip. Matt would tell him everything he needed to know so he could find his own body and then Sylar would give him his body back as soon as he could jump into his original body. Simple as that. But how to trick him...
