It wad close to midnight and the moon was full. Alessandra placed the garnet necklace around her neck and looked into the mirror. Her long red hair flew down her back in elegant waves. As Duchess, she was one of the highest and most important people in the kingdom. Vampires alike gathered in the private area deep in the forest for protection from the hunters.

Rorick came up behind Alessandra and placed his chin on her shoulder, taking in the scent of her lovely cascading hair. "It's very quiet tonight dear, not often that happens." He remarked, One hand snaking around her waist and his fangs lightly grazing her cheek as he gave her a light kiss. "I see you've chosen to finally wear my gift." He stated, his free hand lightly fingering the necklace and the gem dangling from it that comfortably sat on her chest.
