Imagine watching others who can not see you fall in love and out of love but never knowing the experience of this feeling yourself.

This is how Amma Webb has lived for centuries. And she has been happy with her lot in life... until recently. That is when she noticed something had changed in her. She wanted to experience love for herself for once in her life. She ran from her home and disguised herself, fairly well, to live in the mortal realm and try to find love for herself.

Amma enrolls herself in a small community college, she looked the average college girl even without her disguise. She had pale skin, short black hair, freckles on her nose and curves in all the right places. Yet this beauty knew that if anyone found out about her secret she would be run out of the mortal realm and back to her lonley life as a Demon.

Her first day on campus she meets ______, and they hit it off. _______ however has a secret if their own. Will the two be able to tell eachother their secrets? Will Amma find love?

Amma silently watched yet another human fall in love. At first, it had been interesting to watch everything going on. Back than the thougts of insest were not active in humans. They fell in love and mated to produce offspring. There were so few of them back than they mated and loved who they wished, even more than just one love.

As the years and centuries passed by the rules of the humans in their minds changed. She watched still. Countless humans everywhere feeling this emotion called love. Different types of love. Love for a parent, a child, a friend, a sibling, the list went on and on. Yet Amma... did not know what this love was or how it could be felt.

Even amongst her own kind and the Angel's as well... they felt love. Sometimes with humans, or another Demon or Angel. There was that thing they called love. Amma had tried to love in the past but nothing truly went right and the love was never felt. Amma now believed that perhaps there was something wrong with her for she seemed incapable of love.

She made up her mind than. Now centuries had passed by it was now 2014. She left her home and disguised herself as a human, easily done for her as her horns tail could disappear as easily as an Angel could hide its wings. Amma went to a random state and than a the smallest town with a college she could find. Records were easy to forge and soon she was enrolled in the small community college to apparently get a degree in History. Amma laughed when she had chosen it for she had seen history happen, now it was time for her to see how accurate these humans got it.

On her first day Amma bumped into a human male and after a few mumbled "I'm sorry's" on either end. She thought nothing of it at the time, but they kept bumping into each other and even had some classes togeather. Amma looked at the male with curiosity as she had never seen him before, there were too many humans to watch now though so some of them went unnoticed by her. Being bold Amma walked up to him after one of their shared classes and smiled slightly as she stook a hand out, perhaps... perhaps he would be the one? We haven't really been introduced, I'm Amma Webb. And you are?

Remonnet had only heard of her name be called in the classes they have shared, seen her just another student then because well..she is. She's no acquaintance, no friend so there's no reason for him to know of her unless they work on something school related or if she were to be invited in some typical college party. Though admittedly he found her attractive. The entire college, small as it is, did hold some pretty women and even the less than stellar ones could be ogled at. Yet this Amma is different, in what way he couldn't say.

"Technically you're right, but our shoulders are already well introduced aren't they?" he chuckled a bit as he reached for her hand and shook it firmly, giving off a smile just as she did though not as timidly curved. "Remonnet Light, or R - my name's unusual, I know." Not as unusual as it was back when it was given to him. With short dark ash brown hair that waved ever softly in the wind, eyes of dark brown, skin of pale olive, and sharp features on his face, no one wouldn't think that he is less a man, and most definitely not less a human even though he isn't completely one. With ancient and, as the people nowadays view them, mythical dragon blood flowing in him, Remonnet is no basic human that eats, sleeps, and breaths. He does eat, though the food he takes can be cooked by himself with eldritch fire. He sleeps; afloat, standing straight, or simply just be unconscious in mind but presently moving physically. He breaths though not just the air that normal humans do, he can breath fine underwater if he wills it, he'd need not breath at all if he wishes it. With ancient arts of the sorcerers from his long forgotten home, Remonnet is no simple human.

"What can I do for you, Miss Webb?" he said softly as he let go of her hand, leaning against his own locker with a sketchpad in hand and the other tucked in his wine red jeans.

Amma giggled and nodded in response. "That's true... oh nothing really, just trying to make conversion. I don't have classes right now. You R? If not we could grab lunch or something togeather? She smiled slightly ans leaned against the lockers as well trying to look casual, but failing wonderfully. "If not maybe we could get together and have dinner or something? I'm just curious about you.

Curious? he mused as he looked at his sketchpad. His was multipurpose as not only were sketches are in its pages, also random notes he deemed important - one of which is his schedule. It's not that he needed to look at it right now, he already knows that he is free for lunch. He took the moment to asses her. Why was she this forward? Does she need something? Usually it is him that approaches a girl if he wants to spend some time with them and even though he hadn't done that so often in the past it doesn't mean he has forgotten that custom of his. Still, just a nick like that wouldn't disallow allow himself for it. He could use the change.

"Very few people have been curious about me, and even fewer would pursue such curiosities. I don't have classes at the moment so sure, let's grab lunch and we could discuss what makes you curious about me." he grinned before continuing on, "Shall we?"

"Indeed we shall! How about we go to my dorm room? It's fairly close by and I can cook for you. I'm not one for the food they serve around here. Besides, my dorm mate has class right now so we can talk without peoples stares at us and wondering why we are having lunch togeather. " Amma chuckled and began to walk away backwards her eyes still on R, trying to figure out what was going on with him and the aura he was projecting.

It was now him who found her to be curious, inviting some stranger for lunch was one thing, inviting them to your own dorm room for lunch was another. "Well I'm not for one to refuse a pretty girl, lead the way then." Remonnet said with a smile, thinking that if she was intending to do some ill on him, she'll be in for a surprise as though he isn't the best in physical contests - obviously so, given that his figure is light and the only visible muscle on him is his arms and legs - his best asset is his sorceries. He went on to walk with her, keeping his eyes on her just as she did. It was truly a rare thing for a girl of her level of attractiveness talk to him straight up like she did. Curious indeed, he only smiled at her all the way to the dorm, not wanting to ask her questions just yet.

As they reached her dormroom she stopped and cussed. There was her dormmate bringing in some male, Amma sensed the so called love snd shook her head. This one was fleeting, it wouldn't last for long at all. Turning to R she sighed and shrugged pointing to a nearby cafe "How about there instead? Sorry... I just saw my roommate go in and she looked like she wanted privacy. It's my treat though!" She grinned as she took out her wallet and shook it, a few coins jangling inside. "At least this way we can still eat, and it's pretty slow there right now anyways.... and they have a decent apple pie."

Privacy would have been preferred by both of them, it seems but they also both can see that it can't be had in Amma's dorm room. Cursing might be a tad excessive, though. Could it be that she really wanted to eat in private with him for some motive? He'd know if the opportunity comes. "Apple pie does sound nice. But please, at least lemme pay half." From the smile he gave her, it is plain that he insisted. "And, maybe if we sit quietly in a corner, people wouldn't notice us, if there are people in there." R chuckled a bit and let Amma lead the way again, following closely by her side. The walk to the cafe would be an awkward one if they wouldn't talk, so he decided to break the silence. "So, what major are you taking? All I know is that we both take chemistry, biology, and history."

"My major is History, I've always done good in it... like a natural knack for the subject you could say. Though I'm not sure what I will do with a degree in History yet" Amma chuckled and led them into the diner. Their they were invited to help themselves to any table. She had been right, now was a good time for quiet, no other collage kids yet and only a small handful of elderly. She picked a corner table by a window and slid into the booth with a smile "How about you?" A waitress come over looking like she is straight from the 50's or 60's with a beehive, poodle skirt, cateye glasses and chewing some gum, Amma smirks slightly and orders a light lunch of a burger and fries with a chocolate milkshake before the woman, in at least her early 60's turns to R and waits for his order.

The diner had looked like how it had been decades back, it was a bit nostalgic at some point. Remonnet followed Amma to a corner table that was by the window, giving a full view of mundanity - a few people pass by as often as cars did, going about in their businesses. He ought to get to his own. He turned to Amma as she raised her question. History is always something he had been seeing for many centuries now, and frankly, it's boring for him. Even during times when it was all destructive, wars in every corner. Back then he didn't even bother leaving his pocket dimension, only bothering to open up to peek on what's going on. The ads were funny, that's for sure. Before he managed an answer, however, the waitress, wearing some themed uniform, asked them of their order. "I'll have the same." He smiled as the waiter left their presence, mildly disappointed that she didn't left rolling in her skates.

"Fine arts." He finally managed to say after getting a chance to. He always found art to be soothing but doing it by himself just doesn't feel right by him. Thus, this course he's taking is already the tenth. "It's not much in terms of getting cash and stuff, but I don't really care for all that. And also, I'm entitled to some anyway so I'm free to pursue my interests."
