Alexander Jacobs, or Alex as his friends called him, seems like the perfect gentleman to most people. He is wealthy entrepreneur whose companies were safely in the black, and is well known among charities as being incredibly generous with his money. He looks surprisingly well for a man in his forties. Standing just under 6’2”, he works hard to keep a healthy physique. His short black hair has specks of grey in it, and he wears a pair of small glasses in front of his dark brown eyes. To anyone who just knew his public persona, Alex would appear to be a great catch. Despite that though, he was rarely seen dating. The few relationships he had didn’t last long, and it was to the point where some people even wondered if he perhaps enjoyed a different sort of company.
Alex would never admit it, but the true reason was far darker than that. In his youth, he discovered a fascination with the more extreme forms of pleasure. It was the sort of pleasure derived from pain and dominance, the sort that any normal person would look at him in disgust if he ever admitted to it. So the man kept quiet and made do with lesser pleasures. He hid his urges away and focused his energy instead on his career. Before he knew it, Alexander Jacobs had become a well-known name. Now more than ever, it was important to hide this part of him. If it came out then everything he worked so hard for would come tumbling down. It’s okay. I don’t need that to get by. I can resist it. He would tell himself, and for a long time it was true. Then he met her.
Caitlin McConnell may very well be the most beautiful woman Alex had ever seen. Her flawless pale skin, dark red hair, and emerald eyes, there was nothing about the slender girl that didn’t fill him with the flames of desire. The meeting was pure chance. Being thirsty, he stopped in for a quick drink when the waitress caught his eye. Before long, he’s giving her $100 to sit and join him for a meal. As the food is being brought out to them, he pries her for information about herself.
It seems that the seventeen year old girl’s life has taken a turn for the worst. She is working full time in an attempt to cover the ever growing mountain of bills brought on by her mother’s illness. She’s had to drop out of school and take on as many shifts as she can. On top of that, there are all the other bills, and rent to pay, and they’re barely making those as it is. After hearing the story, Alex sits back in his seat and closes his eyes. An idea starts to form in his head. He could help this young woman, and she could pay him back in return through other means… Could he really subject her to that though?
Alex takes a business card out of his jacket. “I can help with your bills. I could even give you a better place to live so that you and your mother could be comfortable. If you decide you would like to hear my offer then come to this address.” He gets up to leave, putting another hundred dollar bill under the card. He walks out and heads home, his mind at war with itself over what he’s considering.
