Samuel was a bit short for his age, coming in just at 5’3'' ( and ½ he always insisted, but few believed him ) His hair was short and a lovely vibrant red, like the heart of a gentle fire. His eyes a more striking shade of red color than his hair, and had a tendency to make him stand out in a crowd. He had a slim frame, downright girlish really. Plenty of men had made the mistake of cat calling the young boy from behind only to have to hide their face in embarrassment at the realization that the 'fine piece of ass' they just called at was a boy. Those that looked him head on often thought he was either a young girl or a young boy. He always claimed he still had time to grow but at this point it was a fools hope.
How strange this last week had felt. Spring break was always a odd experience for Samuel. A week with out fear, humiliation, embarrassment, or pain. A week without ‘Her’. He shivered slightly at the thought, of all the bullying she had put him through. Every day since the first day of freshmen year she had focused on making his torment her main priority. And damn had she been good at it. He couldn’t help but smile widely, telling himself he would have to get used to this strange feeling of being at ease while at school, because he wouldn’t have to worry about ‘Her’ ever again. Not since he had been transferred to a private school on the other side of the city. The bullying had gotten so bad that his parents finally decided to do something about it. Not talk to the principle or teachers of course. Samuel was from the Wilson family. A very rich family, giving him very prideful, busy parents.
They didn’t have time for a parent teacher conference. Hell, they only let him go to a public school because he had begged them to, so he could feel a bit more like a normal kid. When he finally broke down and told them about his bully, well, they figured the easiest solution was to throw money at the problem in the form of a late semester transfer to a very expensive boarding school. This had the added bonus of having Samuel out of her parent’s hair for months at a time. So they could focus on business, dinner parties, and impressing other people of equal status as their own. So no more bully problem. Though, ironically enough, seemed he transferred away to soon. Shortly after the move to the new school with his own private dorm room, he caught word that the girl that had bullied him so much had died in some kind of accident. Still, she hadn't been the only bully, just the biggest one. Perhaps moving had been for the best.
While the idea of starting all over again with no friends was not exactly a pleasant one, especially with these snobbish kids from other bratty families, he was relieved he could finally got to school and not be on the verge of a panic attack every minute. He found it odd that he was thinking so much about ‘Her’ now. Though he supposed it was only natural...She had been the reason he had moved out here after all. Why he had this big room all to himself. Not that he would thank her for it, even if he could.
