The Prince and the Assassin ((Silverknight and Half-Demon))

It was a peaceful time in the land of Zalif, for the most part. No wars with other countries, though peace was beginning to tense on the inside. The king was old, and several nobles did not like the idea of the prince taking the throne. One in particular wanted the throne himself. Xander was smart though. He knew that it had to look like an accident, or that another country was trying to exploit a weakness.

This is what lead him to hiring an assassin from the country of Caltuna. Most of the people there were demons. Kitsunes, Inu, Neko. Not very human anyways. Because of that, they made better assassins. They had sharper senses than most, magic, and there was one in particular that Xander was certain would get the job done.

Iskal had been hired for quite a price. She was one of the best. Her black and pink hair and fur, though noticeable, gave her an innocent look. Exploiting that, she had been able to get out of situations that others would have been condemned for. She was also an excellent actress and Mage. Fire magic was her forte. It had also been a trademark for her. Though very few had been able to connect her to the body, each of her victims had one thing in common. Their heart had been burned out. Gruesome, but it was an effective way to retrieve information as well as finish off a target.

Isiah was ridding along the trail he knew of a danger that was against him, but he knew nothing about the details of the danger or who the possible attacker might be. He was a prince who took training and preparation rather seriously, he kept all sorts of tome and weapons in his area, and made sure that he had enough training to be able to handle most any fight known. The prince had to take over some day, and he knew that if he was going to take over he had to be strong, and well trained. He had to be better then any one else so that others would follow his example as well.

Isiah moved though the countryside in a small carriage it wasn't the largest but it didn't need to be, a large one would only draw to much attention,. The young man was of good height with dark blonde hair and blue eyes, he had a strong body from all the time he had spend training and preparing himself over the years. This day, Isiah was wearing a lose robe over his tunic and pants, the robe kept his gear that he would use in various situation from diplomatic to fights. It wasn't planned that he would be attacked that day at all, but if he was going to be attacked, he would be most ready for it.

Having been made aware of her target's route, due to a very informative tip the kitsune made her way to intercept them, however, she planned to play on chivalry to win this time. She allowed mud and dirt to cover her skin and fur, wearing ruined looking cloths. Iskal honestly looked like a refugee, running from her home land to find safety. She kept her ears flat and tails down almost brushing against the path as she walked. She had no weapons, as she had no need for them. It wasn't long before the Prince's carriage came into view.

The prince looked at the woman and smirked as he had his men go out and meet her, he figured they could set her straight and send her on her way. One of them looked like a prince, he was a idiot, but he was a man who had his purposes, the prince watched the scene unfold calmly as the idiot walked up to the woman offering her a ride by him and that she was a beautiful woman hitting on the fox as he talked to her. Idiot, he knew nothing about the female, that would most likely be a foolish move, she looked like she came from commoners after all, which meant no money. Without money there was no propose of trying to win the heart of such a woman, it would be something that would be rather stupid to do.
