Trinity Nightwalker ☆ Age 20 ☆ Profession: Rogue
She had never tried this before, and yet she was completely calm about the situation. Breaking into houses and even the large manors had never been a problem, why should the castle be any different? She wore a pair of tight fitting black pants and a black shirt meant for a man. Over her head she wore a large hood that would cover her face, along with a black scarf to hide the rest. Trinity had been doing this for a very long time, since she was a child really. At that time she had the guidance of her father though, now she was on her own. The small framed woman was use to all now though, he had been arrested and hung three years ago now. That was the punishment for repeat offenders in almost any kingdom. That was why she was always extra careful now days. The thought of being hung wasn't a pleasant thought to be sure.
Wyheath was one of the largest kingdoms, it kept her in pretty good coin. On any given night she would make it through four or five houses, completely undetected. The only sign that she was ever there was her calling card, a single white rose laid in front of the door. Tonight however was merely for the challenge, she didn't need anything from the castle. In fact she could take a bit of a hiatus for a month before she began running out of coin. No tonight was just for the thrill, of stealing from a king.
Scaling the stone wall, she laid flat against the top waiting for one of the guards on his rounds to pass. When the coast was clear, she got to her feet running along the top a good twenty yards before jumping down to the soft grass beneath. Trinity crouched listening for anyone approaching, when she heard nothing she made a mad dash for the castle. Flattening herself against the stone wall she looked up. All she needed was a good hand hold and she could pull herself up. Lucky for her royalty were vein creatures, and this particular King was no different. The stones that the castle were made off gave plenty of crevasses for one to grip with their fingers. The balcony she had in her sights wasn't even that far off the ground.
One last look around and she began scaling the wall, in the darkness she would only be seen by a very trained eye. Making her way to the ledge of the balcony she hoisted herself over the low wall. Crouching down when her feet touched the flat surface. excitement coursed through her veins, she couldn't keep the smile playing at her lips in check. This was just to damn easy, were they so sure of their skills they didn't know how to defend a castle any longer. Stealthily she moved to the doors, which she found to be unlocked. Another smile spread across her lips, 'what fools.' Using more stealth she slipped inside the darkened room. Her eyes quickly adjusted, she was use to the dark after all. The furnishings would suggest she was in the queens parlor, the room she used to meet with other noble ladies.
This was not the room she was looking for though. No if she was going to do this, and risk being hung she would do it right. She would head out into the better lit hallways, she would go to the Kings study. The hour was late so there was not much movement inside the castle. Creeping towards the door, she waited and listened for foot steps beyond. There were none, opening the door a crack proved the hall was empty. She had been in the castle before so she knew exactly where she needed to go to find the study. Keeping close to the wall, taking a right she headed down the hall.
