The Bryant family was a rather secluded ranch family. They lived almost three hours away from the main city, in land that mostly shared between family farms. Their closest Neighbor was more then two miles away, and with that in mind every member of the family was secluded and because of that the family had developed differently then most, with a set of rules that seemed to extend to every member of the family.
The rules had started when it had just been Mark, his wife, and his brother terry living and working together to try and keep the place running. An attraction ran through both males wanting the same girl, and though Mark had won his wife's hand in marriage, it had never really sat well with Terry, and when Terry confessed his feelings towards Mark's wife it started a conversation that lead into the invention of the rules. The first rule being no member of the family could say 'no' to any other member. Cousin, uncle, Parent it would not matter.
The ranch work had to come first, but with negative emotions and so much seclusion feelings were bound to be hurt in one way or another. So the three consenting adults decided that they would simply share each other, but only after the days chores were over, the ranch was their well being the life blood of the family. The ranch came first in all matters.
When they had their first child it was a young daughter, and as she grew up the family ways seemed to continue hidden yet all around her. When she was old enough to start asking questions however they weren't sure how to answer those questions... The second rule came forward when she was 15, and caught watching Terry and her mother. The children could be involved but only after the age of fifteen. meaning it was two more years before their son could join the fray, and another year after that before the final daughter was let in on the family rules.
It has been a week since the families third and last child reached the age of consent, and the Bryant family had explained all of these rules to her. It's the midst of March the first few days of spring, the sun has returned, along with warmer wind. For the first time in about four months the grasslands that the Bryant family Ranch was built on looked green and full.
Mark stood just outside the door of the main house. Taking in the spring air as he sipped on a cup off coffee. He was a tall man with a farmers tan from working out in the sun all day. His shoulders were broad, and he had short dark hair. His green eyes practically glowed in the sunlight, and he let out a content sigh as the warm spring breeze washed over him. He wasn't wearing a shirt, choosing rather to let the first warm day they have had in what felt like forever to wash over his upper body, allowing him to show off his larger frame.
The winter had been rather harsh on the ranch, but with spring came breeding season, breeding meant money and new livestock. They also owned a chicken coop that produced eggs year round, and this year he wanted to expand that. They raised racing horses, it took a lot of land, and a lot of training, but it often meant that their colts sold for a high price, especially if they raised a winner.
