Misplaced Music Tracks

So I went out last night and I got a couple of CDs. I recently bought a new truck and aside from an old Bon Jovi soundtrack, I didn't have any disks to keep for those rainy days with nothing good on the radio. Anyway, my taste in music is very eclectic. I walked out of Best Buy with some country, some pop, some rock, and some hard rock. As I look now at what I bought, I just now am noticing something really odd.

They had Jimmy Buffet in the Pop section! What the fuck?

Can someone clarify to me how Jimmy Buffet is a pop artist? Does anyone have any other instances to share of horribly misplaced music?​

.... well, somebody really messed that one up... I don't think I've seen anything that ridiculous, but I've seen Lifehouse put under metal, and they're an alternative rock group. At least the genre switch there was to something slightly similar.

 

[Asphodel Terrarium]

I have a difficulty, great difficulty, in categorising music so I wouldn't notice. And I only love instrumentals greatly.
