The sound of her phone ringing is what woke her up. With a groan, she rolled over in the pitch dark room. The name on the caller id read, Anthony, 'that's just great, they are already calling me back in.' Pressing the talk button, "you realize Tony, I have only been asleep for an hour and a half right?"
"Sorry Sky, but this couldn't wait. We just got word of a large group of of rouge weres. You have the most experience with weres so we call you"
The pale haired woman sighed heavily into the phone, making sure the man on the other end heard how angry she was. "Tony, you understand if I do this you owe me big." She didn't wait for an answer before she hit end call. Burying her head under her pillow she complained, then threw it cross the room. She crawled backwards out of the bed, and headed for the shower. She had just finished a job, and was only home long enough to heat up a blood bag, before she fell into her bed.
With her hands against the shower wall, she let the steamy water cascade over her sore muscles. The large gash on her left shoulder, she earned herself was almost healed. Demon venom always made the healing process slower. Another sigh and she was stepping out into the cool air of the bathroom. Always a good way to wake yourself up, cold air on wet skin. Sky toweled herself off before wrapping her long hair into the towel. Every light in her apartment was still off, but she could see just as well as if they were.
She dressed quickly, on her hips she wore two .45s and on her back a long silver coated sword. It came in handy with were's, slowed them down enough to get a shot off. Heating the blood bag from earlier in the microwave, she sucked it down fast. In her entire life she had never fed from an unwilling human. Sometimes she would find a man, or even a girl who would let her feed from the vein. Tossing the empty plastic bag in the trash, she walked out the door. Sky threw her leg over the Sprinter Harley Softail, and turned the key in the ignition. Revving the bike a couple times she sped off towards head quarters.
