Appearance: Fairly tall and not very muscular; he's strong for his size, but that isn't saying a whole lot. He stands at six feet and three inches, but is typically slouched with his head down making him seem more like six feet even, and weighs in at around 180 pounds with a ever-so-slightly tanned complexion. A life spent with video games of numerous varieties, along with a bit of genealogy, has left his large hands with a bit of muscle to him and slim, dextrous fingers, and a bit of pudge on his stomach that he just can't seem to get rid of no matter what. His hyperactive metabolism ensures he doesn't gain any more, though, fortunately for him. Lots of long walks meandering around the city with his brother Jack have left him with slim but fairly well-formed legs to match his hairy feet.
His hair is a mess of auburn waves and curls that have a permanent shine to them and always look dry, falling an inch or two past his shoulders and usually tied back in a fluffy mess of a ponytail by an old black string that hangs a little past his waist; much to his annoyance, the two ends of the string are never quite even. His eyes are hazel, almond-shaped, and set into seemingly permanent deep, dark circles as a result of too many all-night sessions. His lips are a pale pink, full and soft, again thanks to good genes and in spite of his habit of chewing them when he's thinking about something. They conceal pearly white teeth, not perfectly straight but not grotesquely crooked, with a slight overbite.
He typically wears whatever's clean and not obviously feminine along with black combat-esque boots, but prefers his well-worn black jeans and black tee-shirt underneath his black thermal or black hooded jacked. Courtesy of poor circulation in his hands, he always carries a pair of black cotton gloves, though doesn't always wear them. As a matter of fact, yes, black is his favorite color ever. All his clothes—all of them—are wrinkled heaps that look like he simply slept in them, which he sometimes does.
Morals: A confusing medley of cynicism, idealism, pessimism and optimism with a spicing of social darwinism that can't really be explained in words as, in Zack's way of putting it, "Every case where judgement is required is inevitably different from all the others either in it's entirety or in nuance. To try and predict what I will do in certain situations is just asking for a headache, as the best reasoning for my choices is that I'm benevolently off my fucking rocker."
Alignment: Good, but not incorruptibly so; if given a "no win" situation, he will readily take the lesser necessary evil and deal with the angst at a later date.
Personality: Very, very hard to understand at times. He's a lazy genius and a social polymorph, changing aspects of his personality based on his mood, environment, and company. He likes to make people laugh, rarely means any harm to innocents, and can nerd out on nearly anything at the drop of a hat, and can have pretty violent mood swings depending on whether he's suffering from flashbacks or not. He tolerates no mistakes in his decisions, and any he makes taunt him for the remainder of his life and can cause his day to turn from fantastic to terrible in an instant; a downside to his nearly photographic memory.
Powers/Abilities: Aquamancy; near-absolute control over the various states of water. For reasons unknown to him, he cannot control blood or other liquids containing water, only typical water that perhaps contains other liquids. His preferred method is using ice, however.
Weaknesses/Flaws: As mentioned, his naturally ridiculous capacity for memory is both blessing and curse, sometimes striking him with deluges of things he'd rather have forgotten. He is also quite lazy, wanting to get work out of the way with as little effort as possible, making him hasty and a little rash, and thus easier to trap between a rock and a hard place. In nearly all situations, he will place his life on the line to try and save others.
Sexuality: Bisexual with a preference for women; heteroromantic.
Dislikes: Obnoxious people, sexism/racism/what-have-you, people who refuse to learn from their mistakes.
Likes: Coffee, sour food, hot dogs, sour cream & onion flavored chips.
Kinks: None of his own; he prefers indulging his partner's wants.
