May had flown out of the door to escape her brother's wrath with out thought to the coming storm. She could still hear her brother's voice screaming behind her as runs down the dirt road in front of the house. He hadn't followed her out of the house but stood in the door way shaking his fist at her with dire warnings of the beating she would get when she returned. May runs for all she is worth. Her lungs burning and her chest aching as she is forced to stop because of the stitch in her side. Massaging the sharp pain in her side as she stands nearly doubled over on the road to town.

As she stands there waiting for her side to ease she looks down the road that leads to the town where she knows her father could more than likely be found drowning his sorrows in one place or another. May knows that he would be no help to her. More than likely she would find more trouble in his company than if she had just stayed home and dealt with her brothers wrath. Moving to the side of the road may takes a moment to think about her next move. It had begun to rain. Small drops of water falling around her soaking into the light cotton of her white blouse and navy blue skirt. Her leather shoes are soaked in moments as the light rain begins to come down harder and thunder makes the ground rumble.

Knowing she has to get out of the rain but unwilling to go into town to her father or back to her brother she turns off the road and runs towards the sandy coast of the ocean. Her small feet flying over the ground as she hurries towards a secret place she remembered going to as a little girl. She hoped that she could remember how to get to the little cove. As she runs the light rain has turned into a torrential down poor. The rain drops like small stones pelting her as she makes her way to what she hopes will be a safe place to ride out the storm away from her family.

Breaking thru the surrounding tree's she steps out onto the beach. Taking a moment to pull her soaked shoes off she runs bare foot along the sand looking for the cove she had once discovered. But the rain is falling so hard she can't see more than a few feet in front of her. When she stops to take a few breaths and looks around her she notices she has come the wrong way. Moving away from the popular sandy beach and tree's. The tree's sparse now she notices the mountain side and what looks to be what she very much hopes is a cave in the side hidden partially behind a few tree's and boulders. Not stopping to think she runs for the opening she has discovered. Praying no wild animals had the same idea of escaping the rain there as well.

Reaching the entrance of the cave she goes inside just enough to be out of the rain before she stops and turns to look outside. Great full that the cave while dark and a bit dank was mostly dry. Lightening rips across the darkening sky and a few seconds later loud thunder rumbles the earth seeming all the louder inside the cave. Pushing her black curls out of her face. She gathers it in her hands and wrings it out before doing her best to braid and tying it off with a small blue ribbon. She turns and looks into the dark cavern of the cave wondering if she dares to go any deeper into the darkness. Feeling slightly braver than she probably should she moves further into the cave until she finds a group of large rocks and boulders. Taking a seat she begins to wring out her skirt and blouse great full that no one is around to see her in such wretched conditions.

May tries her best to get as dry as she can inside the dark cave. Her five foot five frame trembling with cold as she wishes for a warm fire to curl up near. She looks around the cave floor noticing that the moisture of the sea air and the rain has made everything damp. Not that it matters she has no way of starting a fire anyways. Closing her slate gray eyes and rubbing them with the heal of her hands as she shivers in the cool air of the cave. Pulling her feet up onto the boulder she hugs her legs to her chest and lays her head on her knee's. Crushing her firm round breasts against her thighs as she tries to make herself as warm as possible.
The silence inside the cave only interrupted by the sound of the rain outside . Suddenly May rethinks the intelligence of running out here to escape her family. Maybe it would have been better to just return home and try to deal with her brother and wait for her drunken father to come stumbling home.

May didn't know it yet, but she was the first human to stumble across this cave in years. Stories of what horrors lived there had been told but the clever girl had never taken them seriously. Unfortunately for her, none of the stories even came close to what was abut to emerge.

Awakened by the storm outside of his home was a rare occasion for Foromir and as such he wished to see how bad the storm was getting. Rising up from his pile of gold, the great dragon let the treasures roll off him in piles, stepping out of the spot carefully as to not damage them. He savored the heat of his home against the tough scales of his body, opening his eyes to the steamy surroundings. A pool within his subterranean cavern constantly boiled from a nearby magma flow and made it all like a sauna. Several burning stones around the cave provided the beast with light. Foromir, being a wingless dragon, lived in a cave near the ocean so he could catch fish or anyone fishing at the time. His tail was nearly twice as long as his body to allow him to grab things outside of the reach of his stocky, muscular arms. He made his way up the labyrinth of stone until he felt the heat of the earth disappear in favor of the cool of the outside world, making him shudder as his body adjusted to the new temperature.

Soon, he was shoving aside the pile of large boulders he'd left in front of his cave to deter visitors, stepping out towards the rain without realizing he had company. Only when he was satisfied with his observations and turning to return home did he notice the tiny human sitting on a rock, looking terrified and shocked to see him. Foromir hadn't seen another human quite like her and leapt at the chance to trap her, his long tail lashing out and coiling around her as he moved closer. "What are you doing here, human?" He growled, the heat of his breath alone almost instantly drying her hair.

May Couldn't believe her eyes. The beast had rambled its way out of the deepest part of the cave and walked right past her. The heat radiating off of the scaled monster warming her flesh as ambles past her. She keeps as still and as silent as she can hoping it will continue to ignore her sitting there a hairs breath away from it. Crouched on her cock biting her lower lip wishing with all her heart she had stayed at the house with her brother now. Her heart thumping painfully hard against her rib cage. She watches the Dragon as it stands there. Her mind reeling as her eyes wide and filled with fear watch it's every move.

May can not believe this is happening. She had heard the rumors the fairy tales used to frighten young children from wondering off into dark caves unattended. She had never in her wildest dreams imagined that the stories she had heard growing up where true. At some point all children stop believing in boogie men and monsters...But here it is right in front of her. Standing there in all his scaly impossible glory.

Trapped now by the presence of the beast as he stands at the opening of the cave May can only pray that some how and some way she will be able to escape this cave without being caught. Just then He turns and she feels the heat of his gaze on her moments before his tail wraps around her small waist as he moved closer to her. The heat coming off of him making the wet clothing steam and his breath drying her hair making it curl and escape the braid she had put it in. the leather strip falling to the floor as her black hair streams down her back in wild curls falling over the dragons tail.

His words guttural and booming as he demands to know what she was doing here..
Her gray eyes wide in terror as she looks at him. Her mind racing....Is he going to kill me? Eat me? Oh god i'm about to become dragon lunch! Wait did it just speak? Dragons could talk? Wow! Wait i'm supposed to be scared.. I am scared. Wow it spoke.. should I answer? What do I say oh sorry my bad didn’t mean to stumble into your home unannounced or invited... rolling her eyes at herself she bites her lip looking at him. The fear draining from her eyes as she thinks. Forgetting for the moment that she was supposed to be scared out of her wits. Deciding that perhaps putting on a brave front was the best thing in this situation. He probably wasn't used to people not being afraid of him or even more being firm with him. So she sets her shoulders and narrows her eyes at the dragon man. Steeling herself to sound as brave and unaffected by the beast as she can manage. Hoping with all her heart that this is not a mistake and that she wasn’t making a mistake and about to ensure she was his next meal.

Lifting her hand she slaps the beast on his nose. Hard enough to let him know he was being reprimanded like a child. But not hard enough to actually hurt him. Not that she thought she could. More likely she would have broken her hand if she had actually tried to hurt him.
Putting her hands on her hips she leans her upper body over his tail towards his face.
His breath warming her pale cheeks making them pink and flushed.

“ where are you manners? Put me down this instant. Didn’t anyone teach you that you don’t manhandle or maul a guest in your home? Shame on you mister dragon man.”

She gives him her best yeah i'm talking to you glare as she talks to him.

“ It just so happens I was caught in the rain and needed a place to hide .. now release me this minute and stop being so rude and inhospitable.”

She waits with her heart in her throat to see if he will actually listen to her. Lord help her if she managed to get out of this mess she would never run away from home again...She has never been so afraid in all her life. How in the world had her day go from terrible to nightmarish ?

Foromir had already braced himself for the screams of absolute terror when the unexpected happened. She hit him. Really, the only reason he noticed was the tiny sound that her hand made when colliding with his scales, otherwise he might not have noticed. Very few humans actually fought back, and he thought she was going to start flailing her arms in an attempt to escape but once again she surprised him. She shouted at him, no begging or cowering, but scolding, lecturing him on his rudeness. First, he was shocked, then he looked amused, and finally he laid a clawed hand over his eyes and began to laugh hysterically, a booming, jovial laugh that was more genuine than he ever intended. Looking closely, he could still see the fear in her eyes, but that only made her bravery act more comical. He cackled for a full minute, blasting her with wave after wave of heated breath before finally calming down, setting her down on her perch once again as he laid in a more relaxed position, still blocking her escape. "Hahaha, o-Oh, Forgive me, Ma'am, but from the looks of you I assumed you were an amazon come to take my head." He said jokingly, only able to hold a straight face for another second before bursting out in another fit of laughter. When he was done, he tried his best to calm down, finding it difficult after spending so much time alone. "Phew, ahahaha, well met, traveler." He greeted her finally, bowing his head only slightly. "If all you seek is shelter, then I suppose I could oblige. Besides, I've already eaten tonight." He said, picking a bit of bone from his teeth.
