Over the past two months Wanetech had been lifted from various areas around Gotham up until last week. Then, for no real reason it just stopped. Until last night anyways. The thief once again hit another warehouse but this one was deep within the city Something it looked like the thief was avoiding until this point. That's when the Batman realized what the crook was doing. He looked at the pattern the thief went in around Gotham was from the outside in, slowly picking off the easy marks first and working their way to the big score. The R&D department in the center of Gotham's Wayne Enterprises building....Now the Batman perched up on the roof of a building just across from his own company. The cold air blew his midnight black and blue cape around his massive frame masking his grey armor in darkness and allowing him to blend in with the night sky. In his hand was a scope that allowed him to see activity going on in great detail on the Wayne Enterprises premise.

As he watched his building like a hawk he went over the clues again in his head. His first thought was that it was an insider who had been robbing him but security cameras didn't pick up anything and most crooks weren't that skilled.

This was a string of weapon robberies and that led him to believe that Black Mask was behind it. However when he visited the crime lord it became quickly apparent that Black Mask had no clue what was going on. From there Batman went on to look into Joker, Penguin, Dent, and Bane. None of them proved to be the culprit in question. Whoever it was left no clues behind and had to be a master thief. Deciding he couldn't see enough of the building he put away his scope and shot a grapple line of steel cable at Wayne Enterprise and moved in for a closer look....

Two months ago she had gotten a job to steal small time items from Wayne enterprises, things like weapons and the sort. It paid good money, that was until the client had decided they no longer needed her. Catwoman rolled her eyes as she went over the previous arrangement that had happened between her and the client, according to them they had found someone better who costed less money, shaking her head she had scoffed at them. No one in Gotham city was as good as a thief as she was, most of the time she treated it as a game sure but she was still the best and never left a trace. The only reason she had stopped for a week was in order to be around people so she had an alibi in case cops came asking around about the thefts, but that hadn't happened. It didn't really surprise her considering most companies that had that much influence liked to keep things on the down low, but now she was going to prove that no one could steal better then she. Catwoman had decided that she was going to go after a big item, it wasn't necessarily large in size but every villain wanted to get their hands on it. If she had such an item then no one could question her skills as a Master Thief, not to mention the amount of money she could get off it.

The Batman landed on the top of Wayne Enterprises, the massive tower almost made him dizzy just standing so high atop it with all the wind. From where he landed there was no sign of a break in but something didn't sit well with him. Slowly he moved around the top of the building until he came to an open window. A perfect circle had been cut into the massive glass panel that seemed to allow someone at least as large as he was the room needed to get through. The panel of glass that had been removed was leaning against the slant of the tower. Gently the Caped Crusader peered inside and saw a long, thick thread going further and further down into the building. Taking hold of the rope one could tell it was tied to a support beam. The Batman slid down the rope landing softly on the floor and scanned his surroundings with his eyes carefully looking for movements. This would most likely be the spot that the thief came back to in order to escape.
