In what appeared to be an abandoned corridor the only thing could be heard is the hum of fluorescent lights. However the silence was abruptly ended as pair of footsteps could be heard echoing down the hall. The footsteps seemed to belong a young fox humanoid figure with red fur, black tipped ears and emerald eyes. She wore a blue uniform with a strange set of gold insignias on the collar. As the fox girl neared the door at the end of the hall she started slowed her footsteps down for she knew what was waiting for her in the other side.

The young fox girl closed her eyes as attempted to remember her briefing. Apparently there was some 'creature' waiting on the other side of the door. Command apparently want to see how these creatures would react to her before they would release it. "Major Solaria Miyuki opening isolation chamber" said an intercom system as the door in front of her opened up before her.

"Mother...fucker." Vallios growled

Vallios looked around, unable to comprehend where he was. Where was his vessel? What was this place? And where importantly, where was his knife? With a sigh Vallios patted himself down, finding that he was clad in not but his boxers, and some bloody antiseptic soaked bandages. Whoever owned this chamber had taken his knife, his Skyeye, everything, even his dog-tags...

"Nice. Blind jump myself straight into prison. Really hope the Coalition doesn't own this joint..."

And with that the man began to pace around slowly, inspecting his surroundings. There was a bed and an assortment of unfamiliar devices, none of which he had any particular desire to inspect. Another weary sigh escaped from Vallios' lips as he took a look at his reflection in a frosted glass tube. His chest length raven hair was still stuck together from dried blood and there was a nasty cut running down from the center of his right eyebrow all the way to his jaw.

"Goddess above, at least allow me a place to shower. I look like hell itself."

At least, that was how Vallios felt. He was a rather successful mercenary, used to being flawlessly groomed and well-dressed when he wasn't on a job. Oh well, at least the new wound would leave a rather intimidating scar, and an interesting touch to his otherwise strikingly handsome alabaster pale face. With a vain tilt of the head Vallios flexed, inspecting himself and making sure all the proper muscle groups were functioning. YEOWCH! He'd definitely pulled something...But at least they responded.

After the door had opened Miyuki opened her eyes, and the sight immediately took her back. Although Miyuki was expecting a unique creature, she was not expecting a creature whom lacked fur let alone no tail. After the initial shock whore off Miyuki started to examine the subject from a distant as the door behind her closed.

"My Goddesses, did they shave you" Miyuki asked not realizing that the creature in front of her was a human and they normally walked around without fur. However when Miyuki saw the creature appeared to be in pain, she rushed towards the human and placed her hand on the apparent wound. A sudden blue glow came from Miyuki's hand as the human's wound began to ease. As Miyuki continued her healing magic it appeared to cause fatigue upon her.

"Why are... you even... up" Miyuki asked after she stopped her healing magic and started to breath heavily.

"Erm...Not that I can tell, but that's a rather forward question to be asking, isn't it?"

The question had been perceived differently by Vallios, he of course assumed that she was asking about his loins. Which, he did make a point to keep smooth and well maintained. However, that was certainly none of business at the moment! Then, of course Vallios took a moment to examine the situation from a different angle. He was stranded who knew where, with some bipedal feline fox asking if her companions had shaved him. Was she expecting something?

Then Vallios' eyes widened slightly, wondering what was planned for him. Of all his combat and culture training, this was a scenario that had NEVER been covered. What did you do when you were stranded in a chamber somewhere, stuck amongst a species completely unknown to you.

Well, the obvious answer was drink, but even his boot-flask had been taken. Then, she did the strangest thing and touched him. When she did so, he felt a strange energy course through his veins. It was as if she was transferring her energy to him, willing his injured flesh to knit back together, and his sprained muscles to relax.

"How did you do that?" He asked.

At this moment Miyuki was still breathing heavily, but by this point she has recovered slightly. But when Vallios questioned where her healing abilities come from she just blinked her eyes for a moment. She has never considered someone never knew about magic. Miyuki paused for a second as she thought of a way to answer his question without

"It was through magic, we use magic to bend the laws of physics. I should warn you our blood did kind of "mixed", but don't worry our DNA is close enough to be the same species. Though you should know... you have a slight DNA abnormality " Miyuki replied whom now appeared to have recovered from fatigued.

Miyuki then slowly walked around the isolation chamber and sighed at the sight of one bed. Miyuki had hoped there would be at least two beds, as she did not want to share a bed just in case either got sick. Although as she walked Miyuki suddenly remembered the questions she was supposed to ask him.

"So you seem quiet fluent in Atlantian, have you been to Atlantis" asked Miyuki, but little did she know to Vallios, Miyuki was actually speaking in English, and that Earth still considers Atlantis to be a myth.

"Erm...I'm speaking Coalition Common."

Atlantis? Wasn't that supposed to be like, under the sea? Vallios tilted his head at her question, looking absolutely puzzled. Perhaps she wasn't aware of the fact that he'd literally bent the rules of time and space to get where he was currently. As for DNA abnormality? That was no surprise. He'd spent most of his life at the receiving end of military experiments. But, that was what happened when you sent a rebellious child off to a military academy and then force him to spent his teenage years in the front lines.

Though, all that was in the past. Now Vallios was just some poor soul, lost trillions of fathoms from his home world, with no way of ever getting back to his friends, family, and loved ones...Except, Vallios' nomadic lifestyle never allowed him to establish any sort of deep ties like that.

And so, here he was. In an isolation chamber with a fox-girl. A beer would go over great right about now, maybe even a cig. Ok, no smoking, even when you were this far and this stressed out was still a most unattractive habit. Yes, a beer would do great. Or perhaps a nice stiff shot of whiskey.

"So...Am I being quarantined or something?"
