For three hours now, Kimberley was working on homework, finding that it wasn't as easy as she thought it was. She had two papers due, assignments to complete and a test to study for. And she practically shut down any social life she had all day to focus once home from school. And with her mother not in the picture and her dear father busy with work it was hard to really get some help on any of it. So still she focused and dove into her books, writing, reading and memorizing.
By the time 8:30 pm rolled around, Kim was tired out, her brain riddled with words phrases problems and more. She couldn't handle it anymore and before she could even try to move she passed out, all but one assignment was finished. She slept soundly, pencil still in hand and a textbook resting in her lap. She was dressed in her school uniform which consisted of knee length skirt and a simple plain white top. Her socks and shoes had been removed when she got home from school. So when her father came hom he would find his little girl out like a light in the chair within the living room.
Kim loved her father dearly as he was always there for her when he could. He always showered her with love when she needed it and made sure she had the things she wanted. But even so with her lack of luck in finding a boyfriend and consoling him when the ones she did have left her, his words, his embrace seemed to do wonders and she could only imagine having a man in her life who was like her father. Which led to some rather taboo and odd thoughts about the man whenever she dreamed or saw him fresh out of the shower.
