It was late, and Alec was tired. He had a fun day with Roxi behind him. His shower was over, his clothes were off (again) and the warm blankets were covering him. His eyes slide close, his ears wiggling and trying to catch the sounds of Roxi in the shower, trying his best to stay awake until she got out. It seemed a futile battle though, that Alec was doomed to fall asleep before his beautiful girlfriend graced his side again.

They had watched movies, made out, ate a good dinner, and generally just enjoyed each other in all the ways they hadn't had the time to do earlier in the week. The day had left a smile on the sleepy Alec's face, and even as he began to dose off his tail swished happily from side to side. Part of him seriously hoped Roxi would be out soon. He didn't want to fall asleep without her in bed with him. He didn't know why it was so important to him, considering he had fallen asleep without her countless times...it just felt important.
 
Smiling as she showered, Roxi thought back on the fun she'd had today with Alec. It had been so nice to have a day like this after a busy week. She lathered up in a vanilla scented body wash as she remembered the feel of his hands on her body when they'd made out after the movie, of how they'd taken things a little bit further after that. She purred softly and rinsed off, finishing up her shower in what seemed like record timing. After a quick routine of after shower things, Roxi came out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel to see if he was still with her. If he was, he was hiding it beautifully. She smiled at him, his form sprawled out on the bed, eyes closed. So cute! She quietly slipped over to the side of the bed and sat on the edge, holding her towel with one hand. Alec had fallen asleep and he hadn't even realized it. He had been dreaming of nice things; big meals, Roxi, and fun days. In his dream, Roxi had leaned over to press the sweetest, softest kiss against his lips; it was a few seconds later before Alec realized that was real, and he purred, kissing her back and leaning up into it. He was still sleepy, his actions a bit slow, but there was no way he could sleep with someone as beautiful as Roxi right there, kissing him. "Hey there," he said, drowsily. "I thought you were never going to get out here." He smiled up at her and kissed her again, before taking in the fact that she was just in a towel. It was incredibly sexy to him, and he couldn't believe how attracted her found himself to her at this moment; despite how sleepy he was, he still wanted to enjoy her. "Enjoy your shower?" He asked, with another light kiss.
 
Roxi let the kiss linger on Alec's lips, surprised when he started to kiss her back. So she'd managed to wake him with a kiss. Seemed like something right out of a fairy tale. She smiled and stayed close to him, letting him play in her hair as they kissed. She smiled when he broke it with a raspy, sleepy voice.

"Sorry. You know how much I love taking showers." She smiled and kissed him back when he came in for more. "It was a nice shower," she said, kissing him back one more time. "Did you fall asleep, sweetie? Did I interrupt your dreams?" she reached down and played with his dark hair fondly, thinking him incredibly handsome in this moment. Something about him was so appealing.
 
"Yeah, I think I did. You didn't interrupt anything important." He smiled at her, and scooted over in the bed, keeping the blankets up to 'protect his modesty'. Sounded good in his head, anyway. He moved the blankets over so that Roxi could slip in next to him. He watched her with some anticipation, waiting for her to drop that towel. He had seen it plenty of times before, but he never got tired of the sight, and he doubted he ever would be. "Care to join me, my dear?"
 
Roxi smiled when he moved over for her. He moved the blankets and she stood up, grinning as he asked if she would join him. "Must you ask?" She smiled and let go of the towel, deciding to just pick it up. She stood still for a moment letting him take her in and then slid under the sheets with him. She pulled the covers over herself as well and curled up next to him, happy to be in his warm embrace. "This is so much better than trying to let you sleep."
 
Alec found himself momentarily stunned when Roxi dropped the towel, a smile spreading across his face. Her body was simply the best, and he couldn't believe it was all his. He wrapped an arm around her when she curled up next to him, making sure the covers were adequately covering her. "I agree," he said, leaning over to kiss her as one hand rubbed her shoulder, the other coming and rubbing her sides, drawing idle designs and lightly gliding up and down her side.
 
Roxi smiled at her lover as he began running his hands up and down her sides. She kissed him softly and ran her hand up and down his back, gently massaging him, caressing his skin. "I love you, Alec." She smiled and kissed him again, letting him have free reign with her body. He knew just the right ways to touch her, and she loved the way he reacted to her affection.
 
Alec purred gently as she caressed him, smiling warmly at the beautiful girl next to him. "I love you, too, Roxi." He kissed her again, harder; he let his hand that was on her side explore casually, running lightly over all of her body. "I'm glad to hear it, beautiful," he said, nodding. He drew idle designs on her skin, still watching her. "Shall we go to sleep, now?"
 
She smiled softly and shook her head. "Not quite yet. There's still a little time left, Alec." She kissed him deeply, letting her tongue slip into his mouth as she moved to straddle him, careful of his tail. She slid her hands over his shoulders and chest, wanting him to feel good at least one more time before bed. She wanted to give him everything he needed to face tomorrow without her. After all, if she missed him as much as she did during that day, he surely felt the same way.
 
He played with her tongue as he laid back, surprised when she straddled him. Her touch continued to shoot electricity through his body, and he purred louder. He was happy with the way this was going, and was more than happy to enjoy the remaining time with her. After all, tomorrow their normal life would resume and they would have to go back to missing each other during the day. He was loathe to let it go back to that, but he knew it was for the best.

After all, they did need to live.
