In local taverns, stories are told about adventures taken, plunders found, wishes fulfilled. On occasion, people whisper about a place hidden deep within a lush rain forest where treasure and ancient artifacts patiently await those who are brave enough to venture out and seek them. Most think that these treasures wait alone, but they are mistaken. Few had been brave and searched for it, long and hard, day after day, only to come back empty handed, or worse, not at all. No amount of money can make the natives wander into the rain forest, having seen so many people come and not come back. If one were to make it all the way to this hidden place, they would find a village run by exotic creatures called Nekos, who had the ears and tails of felines.

Aisling shielded her eyes, looking up at the noon day sun before setting down the wood and flint she had been carrying. She was trying to get all her material home before lunch, and now it seemed that it would have to wait. Looking around her village, she noted how everyone was wandering around, talking and laughing. No outsiders have ever come to her village, and little to none skirmish occurred. That made her job all the more easier, keeping a watchful eye over things. Not that her job had ever been hard. They didn't have to worry about anyone invading or trying to kick them out of their village, since it was so hard to find. Even nekos who had lived here their whole lives still got lost. When she was a child, she had befriend the Chief of the clans son, who soon became the chief when he turned of age. Not long after, he appointed her to be his adviser.

Aisling walked around for a few minutes, talking to people she had know about their lives, how the trades were, if they were having any problems, things she asked everyday at about noon. Once she finished, she found her way to the Chief, discussing plans, new found items, and the problems of the villagers. Assuring her that they would all be taken care of, he sent her on her way to enjoy what was left of lunch time. After actually finding something to eat, she searched for her favorite secluded spot, a little bit away from the main square of the village.
Sitting alone to catch a moment of peace, she let her mind wander, day dreaming for just a bit.

The humid air of the rainforest was thick, every breath a bit harder to take that usual. The explorer was on a search through the vines and trees for a lost village. It was rumored to have separated from the outside world nearly a millenium ago. He vowed to find it, but finding it was much harder that one would think. It had been weeks of searching but no luck so far. The explorer was determined to not give up the search, so he carried on heading East.

Chris was his name, the best explorer in the world. He had been exploring since he left high school, he always did have a thing for history class. He had to trek through worse conditions than the rainforest in the past but the thick foliage made it a tough journey. JChris kept an eye out to see off there was any sign of the village as he hacked thought the thick vines. He came to a clearing and rested for a minute, having a chance to get a drink before moving on. This village, if he discovered it, would be an amazing find. It wouldn't be his first discovery, and certainly wouldn't be his last.

As he headed back on the search, he decided to try a new direction, heading North instead of East. The thick vines and other plants seemed to thin out as he went, getting easier to cut through. It was strange but helpful as he continued on. Soon he heard the sound of voices, people's voices. Could it really be? He ran towards the noise quickly dashing around trees and other obstacles, then stopped just before a clearing. It was full of many huts and people, but not ordinary people. They were human but with feline traits. He looked at them in amazement before stepping bravely into their village. This village was the biggest discovery, even more than the ancient one but only if he lived to tell the tale.

At first, Chris remained unnoticed to the villagers, until he stepped forward. Heads turned and study him, some staring in awe at this creature they had never seen before, so reaching for weapons in case of a threat, and others appreciating the sight. The soft sound of whispering could be heard through out the village, snapping Aisling out of her daydream. Turning her head to the person causing all the commotion, she blinked a few times to be sure she was seeing right. Was that a human? She had only heard about them in stories from the elders, and never had she heard one that ended in happily ever after. Searching the crowd for Zaine, the Chief, she locked eyes as he beckoned her to his side.

Meanwhile, a few of the villagers gather some courage and were slowly getting closer to Chris. One female in particular smiled at him, waving her fingers. She kept her distance as some of the males gather together in a small group, talking over what had to be done. Some held small weapons in their hands, nothing to dangerous looking, while the other held hostile expressions. Most of them gathered together in small circles, fiercely whispering about him. A light breeze swept through the entire village as their Chief walked up to Chris, seeming neither threatening nor intimidated by his presence. Aisling stood to his side, keeping a calm, professional look and standing next to Zaine. Standing a mere five foot two, she was dwarfed by Zaine's six foot three height.

"Greetings Traveler." He announced, looking at Chris.

Chris watched as the village seemed to stop dead with what they were doing and focus on him. So many eyes staring at him, some curious but others hostile. His expression very neutral, not happy, not afraid, nothing show in his face. Even the friendly wave by one of the women of the village left his expression unchanged. He looked to the villager who he assumed was the chief as he was the largest of the villagers as well as his attire being much more exotic than the others.

Chris didn't show any emotions as the chief stepped forward, though he towered over many of the villagers, but was two inches shorter than the explorer. He noticed the girl who stood beside him but kept his bright blue eyes on the chief. He listened as he was greeted, "Hello there, I come in peace" he stated.

Zaine nodded, resting a hand on Aisling's shoulder. With that, he turned and began walking away, a few of the villagers following after him and muttering quietly to him. Her face registered shock as she watched him walk away, before slipping back into her calm collected look as she turned towards the outsider. "What is your reasoning for finding out village?" she asked, giving him a quick once over. She lingered on his eyes, noting how bright they were before taking a notepad from her back pocket. Not entirly sure if badgering this man right of the bat was a good idea, she deicded to ask the most important questions before letting this man any further into the village.

Flipping the pad open, she turned to him once more. "How long do you plan to stay? Do you wish harm against anyone in this village? Are there others?"
She waited patiently, ready to record his every word. While she listened, she decided to get a better look, letting her eyes wander over his form. She tried to kept it discreet, not wanting him to think of her as unladylike like. Noticing that even though he was not like the other males in her village, he was still built well and looked as if he had been many places, and had an air about him, as if he knew exactly what he was doing.

She was somewhat worried, still considering what the elders had always said. "Humans are greedy! They come in large numbers and cause nothing but destruction and war!" She didn't think this man had brought anyone else, and even if he tried to steal anything or start a war he was clearly outnumbered. But who was to say he wouldn't just leave and come back with more humans? And what if she was wrong, and their were other who were lying in wait? Or she could just be being paranoid, over reacting like she normally did. Deciding she would observe him for a bit before she thought of what she would do about it, she resolved to keep a close eye on him for the time being.

Chris breathed a sigh of relief as the chief left along with some of the villagers. The girl that stood beside him remained and attacked him with questions, one after the other. He took a half-step back, "Easy, easy!" he said. His eyes catching hers, "I'm an explorer, I've heard great stories of your village" he said, answering the first question. He watched as she pulled out a note pad, clearly wanting to document his answers. "I don't really know, as long as I'm welcome I presume. I mean no harm to anyone. I am alone." He said, regarding her second round of questions.

He noticed her eyes leave his and trail downwards, causing him to grin slightly. "Will that be all?" he asked, wiping some sweat from his brow. His eyes made their way along her figure for a moment, returning the favor to her. "May I ask something now?" he added with a kind smile. He knew this must have been a new and crazy experience for her, as it was for him but at a lesser degree. He could only imagine what was running through her mind, with such little if any experience in the world outside of this village,

She bit her lip as he stepped back, hoping she hadn't offended him. Nodding her head slowly as he answered, she wrote quick notes about why he was there and what he wanted. She looked down as he made eye contact, glancing back upward as he continued to speak. She wished to ask more questions about where he had heard these stories, but she held off for now. "You are welcome as long as you cause no trouble." Believing when he said no one had accompanied him, she took a slight step forward and regarded him with a more scrutinizing gaze, double checking the fact that he was not a threat.

She blushed lightly as he caught her stare, blinking before composing herself once more. "It will. You may." She tried to pretend he wasn't gazing at her body, keeping the blush off her face and her features calm. More questions filled her head, wanting to know about this explorer. He must have explored many places to call himself great, and she had never been outside her village, and would love to hear stories of his travels.

Chris smiled and noticed her gaze change to a more scanning look than the previous look over. Her responses making him feel more comfortable in the moment, catching her blush as well. "What is your name?" he asked. He knew she had to have a name, plus keeping her around would prove most interesting. He wanted to get to know the culture of the village, as well as get to know her at the same time. He crossed his arms across his chest and waited for her answer.

"Mine is Chris, if you were wondering" he added as he looked at her eyes again. He could see the innocence in them, he didn't feel threatened by her based on the kind look but also on the significant size difference of course. He wondered what thoughts flooded her mind, he was sure they were many and varied.

Hoping he felt comfortable, she beckoned him to follow her. She began walking into the village, figuring if he would be staying she would need to find him a place where he could reside until he left. "My name is Aisling." She heard the faint whispering through the town as the villagers began making their own speculates about the traveler. Some giggling could be heard, causing her to roll her eyes. She could only imagine the kind of rumors that they could be starting. She smiled lightly as he told her his name, realizing she had forgotten to ask. "It's nice to meet you Chris." she replied, looking around the village.

After a few minutes, they pasted what seemed like rows of market stalls, except they were all empty. A few people were loitering, looking up as they made their way through. She continued walking, leading him through the forest before they reached a medium sized clearing, an unlit bonfire in the center. Cabins could be seen around the edge, and if you looked past them, they could be seen father back behind the other cabins. She led Chris to one of the farther back cabins, knocking once before opening the door and steeping inside.

Chris smiled as she motioned for him to follow, doing so and walking beside her through the village. He took in the sights and sounds of the village, getting to know it a bit more now. "Aisling, what a nice name" he commented. He could her whispers from some as they walked by, as well as those same giggles that made her roll her eyes. "The pleasures all mine Aisling" He said as he was getting used to saying her name now. He continued with her as they walked through the market then the forest, looking around as they found the clearing. He saw the cabins and noticed the chief by one. He put two and two together and realized she was the chief's daughter. He walked inside and looked around the cabin, wondering what she had planned for him here, he could only imagine.

She smiled as he spoke, looking around and walking up the stairs. "There is a spare bedroom up here, no one is using it at the moment. You can spend as much time as you like here." Walking down the hall, she reached the last door and opened it, looking back to make sure Chris was following her. She entered the room, opening a closet and taking out a few blankets from the bottom and tossing them on the bed. "You can put your things in here." She dug through the dresser, pulling out a key and handing it to him. "This locks the door and this closet, if you feel the need to keep them closed." Strolling to the window, she waited for Chris to join her before pointing out another smaller cabin looking structure, a few people leaving it. "That is the bath house, you'll find towels in the closet in the middle of the hall." Pressing a finger to her lips, she thought of anything she had forgotten to tell him. She blinked, leaning towards the window again. "If you go past the bath house and keep in a straight line and you'll reach a smaller stall like the ones we passed. Tell the stall worker their you are one of Zaine's guest and she will get you anything you need."

She wondered if he knew about the villagers here, and what they relied on to survive. "Do you know anything else about this village?" She asked, looking at him. "Anything about the villagers here, specifically?" Biting her lip, she wondered if humans were the same way, or if they just relied on food and water to survive. She knew animals were this way, only mating so they could keep from going extinct. Her villagers needed the pleasure so that they could survive. She knew a few of the females had been giving him looks, and she wonder if he would be alright with helping with their needs. If not, she wasn't quite sure how she would explain it to them.

Chris followed her as he was shown around, keeping track of everything in his mind and nodding whenever she mentioned something new. He like his little room and took off his large backpack and put it beside the bed. He took the key from her and put it into her pocket, keeping it for a more necessary time. He listened as she pointed out the bath house and the stall worker who would get gim anything he needed.

"No, nothing really. But I want to know more!" he said as he looked at her. He noted the biting of her lip and cocked an eyebrow, "Why is there something I should know?" he asked. His eyes back on hers again, wondering what she could possibly mean but also very curious as to the mysteries of the village and it's people.

Aisling tapped her lips, pondering how she would explain their ways to him. She knew very little about humans and their ways, and she thought comparing him to animals might offended him. She was silent for a long moment before blinking once, figuring a way she could explain without offending him and without sounding as if she was a moron. Turning towards him, she sat up slightly before saying, "Animals eat and drink water to survive, and mate to keep their race going. For us, it is a little different. Although we still eat and drink, we rely on pleasure to survive, somewhat like when animals mate." She nodded her head, figuring this the perfect explanation. "Some of the villagers might approach you for this, I know one or two of them are a bit shameless." She smiled at him. "Will it be a problem? If it is, I will make sure none of the villagers bother you about it." She had a few questions for him now that the subject had been brought up, and she considered asking them now, think it was the best time.

"What do humans survive on? Are you like us, or do you live on food and water?"

Chris listened as she spoke, looking at her with curiosity as she told of her people. He wanted to know anything he could about them, so he kept his ears open. He nodded as she explained the villagers' reliance on pleasure and compared it to food and water. He nodded as she continued, noticing the villagers who were as she said 'shameless'. "I don't think it will be a problem at all" he replied. "We survive on food and water but of course naturally mate not for sustenance but to carry on our race" he replied to her second question. "Do you have any more questions that you'd like to ask?" he asked as he looked at her once more.

She nodded, happy that he understood her. Thinking for a moment, she wondered what other kinds of trips he had been on, and if he had ever visited a village like hers. She was curious to know if he had, and how they had acted when he approached him. Looking out the window, she noticed the sun would be setting soon. Dinner would follow soon after, so she would wait until them so he could regale all of the villagers with these tales. A small headache began to throb in the back of her head, and she realized she hadn't indulged herself since the night before. She consider asking Chris to help her, but she thought best to wait and see if he had any question. "Is there anything you would like to know?" She asked, walking over to the bed and sitting down.
