Oh what luck, what a wonderful thing to stumble upon in the woods! Laika had wandered these woods almost his entire life, made the vast coniferous forest his home. He was almost a king of the place, to the point where the locals of the neighbouring villages tried to avoid passing through it when they could. After all, it was here that the fabled 'Big Bad Wolf' called home, and nobody wanted to be hunted by a hulking wolf that walked like a man.
In all his years however, Laika had never actually been fortunate to find a human. Until today. Yes, when he left his cave that morning he had hoped to catch a deer or some rabbits... and instead he found a girl in a red hood knocked out on the ground, evidently having tripped on something and hit her head. Worked for him.
He had hoisted her onto one large shoulder after tying her wrists behind her back with a large vine, and then the black furred wolf started moving back to his cave in the nearby mountain. He smacked his lips loudly as he walked, and Laika could only fantasize about what cooked human would taste like. Well, hopefully she would be as tasty as he had built up in his mind, he could do with eating something new...
