Jeremy had spend his entire life with thinking that he had been born into the family who raised him. Although the conditions they lived in were quite poor and as he grew older he came to realize his family was not so perfect, his father was a drunk who abused his mother constantly and eventually when he was 15 he ran out on them leaving the two of them to fend for themselves, which was quite hard. They barely made do with what he earned as a store clerk at a departmental store, but now that he had left them his mother had to start working, Jeremy too started working at the age of 16 but that was never enough. Things slowly started looking bright when he earned a scholarship in a prestigious college and he thought eventually he would be able to steer them out of the dump they had been living in.
But First year into college he was approached by a man who at first look claimed that he was his father. Jeremy could tell that his drunk of a father could never be that man, but the man kept insisting, and finally when he turned him away The man told Jeremy to ask his parents about it. When he confronted his mother a few days later she had told him the truth after some hesitation. He met his biological father a few more times before they got to know each other quite well, But a few months later he found out that the man had a Terminal condition and had only seeked him out because he wanted to get to know his only child before he died. Sure enough a few months later he died, and left Jeremy to fend for himself once more, but that was not the case, A lawyer had told him few days after his father's death that his entire estate would be inherited by Jeremy, which was quite alot of money.
The first thing his mind ran to was his own mother who had been living in that run down house with two jobs. He had thought it over for a few long days before he was on his summer break and he went straight to his old house to talk to his mother, he was eager to bring her to the new house which his father had used, he had only went there twice and only for a few hours, but he knew it was quite large. And now he had enough money, that his mother would not have to work. But a thought kept popping into his mind that she was not really his mother. The thoughts frizzing in his mind lately had been less than decent, and they were about his mother, or so he had believed for the past 18 years of his life. Only in a year after finding out the truth he had developed less than right feelings for her.
