Swift River Pack (Open to all)

For such a cold night it was a shock that it had not started to snow yet, but the cold itself was enough to keep most prey out of the open tonight. Kai paced in the same pattern she always did looking for something amiss or edible. It had been a while since she had been able to find food for the pack here and she was afraid they would soon have to leave the swift river area. The troubles of moving in winter were rolling through her head when she saw something move out of the corner of her eye and stopped to examine what it was.
