The sky's the limit, that's what people say afterall.
After the great cataclysm 500 years ago, the majority of the world has sunken beneath great seas, and Humanity lives in one of three places, on boats, on islands or in airships, which constantly take in sea air and use it to keep flying forever... or at least, until the food runs dry.
This is a very different world to the one we know in reality, animals such as Whales, dolphins and sharks are not endangered, in fact they must be culled to make sure they don't eat the oceans bare, which provides great whale oil for generators and meat all around, animals such as giant squids roam just below the surface of the water and are relatively common sights, and animals that we once though extincy in aeons past now roam the waters once again... but animals like crocodiles only live in small lakes on islands.
Our story starts with the captain of "The Reaver", a H-class frigate pirate ship, roaming the skies and picking off any merchant ship foolhardy to cross near his territory, when, in the night sky, what seems to be a meteor zooms past his ship, but the "meteor" soon doubles back and begins flying around their ship before landing on the deck, to reveal it's not a meteor, but a creature, a female creature, a god from ancient times, cast from earth by her fellow deities but now returned, she challenges the captain to single combat, so she can kill him and take the ship, however, her godly powers come from worshipers, and none have worshiped her in 6,000 years! so by the end of her third attack, she is exhausted, and the captain is still standing, with her powers gone she is bested easily by the mortal, and put in chains.
Initially she was going to be sold in a slave auction, until she revealed that she sees all, even without her worshipers, and she knows of treasure so grand, even if split 50 ways between all the crew, they would all still come out of it so rich that they couldn't end up spending all the money even if they tried... so, she is released, and they begin their journey, but this goddess has ulterior motives, but the first stage of it is the seduction of the captain, which she hopes will give her a child, a child she can use to take vengeance upon the gods who banished her and usher in a new era where humanity bows to her... but the captain isn't an idiot, and he's on to her...

I have searched for two cock-sucking hours for the image i had in mind for your character, it is a Sindoll image, an egyptian goddess-looking character with blue fur, and a doodle of what looks like a crocodile in the background, if you have seen it you know what i mean, and if you can find it, please post it here.
