Somewhere beneath the earth was a stone chamber. A complex, arcane circle drawn out of chalk covered the majority of the floor, various incense and candles burning at key points of the sigil. In the center of the tangle of lines lay a nest of sheets. A glowing orb at the ceiling provided light. However, the light was dim, casting shadows. The room was rather warm for clothing, and the heady scent from the various herbs and strange magicks gave the room an almost sensuous atmosphere. Around it all walked a sorceror, clad in the dark robes of a Thaumaturgist, trimmed in the gold of a journeyman.

Evan's brow furrowed in concentration as he paced slowly through the chamber. One hand held a large tome open in front of him, carefully observing the rites for the summoning. He checked the laying of the diagram, comparing it against the book's detailed description. He was no stranger to summoning, but this would be the first time he would attempt to make a contract that would last. Most contracts were one of trade: a favor for the creature, a favor for the mage. But this contract would be for a permanent familiar, one which would serve him for the rest of his life.

He had no idea what exactly would be summoned, other than that it would be female, and by using its own body against it, he would form a contract in his favor.

He touched the glyph upon his forhead for luck, and began to chant.
Aus tor ra no nu fa za regus...
The inital ritual would confine the creature within the arcane diagram, which he stood well outside of. He would use his magic after his... guest arrived. He continued to chant, knowing she would be here quite soon.

She wasn't sure what was happening, one moment she was finishing up her midday meal, the next she could no longer move and felt as though she was being sucked through the very floor of her modest tree top hut. Someone was summoning her.... Her black eyes widened softly as she shifted and struggled the chain around her middle jingling softly.

Nadia felt as though she was falling a great distance through an inky blackness, not even her suburb eyesight could penetrate. Cold fingers of magic pressed against her form causing her simple cloths to vanish and be replaced with leather bindings that covered her impressive breasts and wrapped along her lower half. Her dark hair which was so often pulled back fell around her face and then she knew no more.

Within his circle a figure would began to take form, first shadows then the shadow split into dimensions and her solid figure appeared. Proud wings spread wide before folding back as she fell to her knees. Gently her dark eyes fluttered open and she looked around the room. The bat could sense the magic and it made her senses crawl in a very unpleasant manner. Standing she smoothed out the standard uniform for a summoned creature and glared at the figure before her.

"How dare you summon me!" she hissed out showing sharp fangs. No one really liked being summoned. It was an unpleasant experience and it left most beings grumpy. "Speak quickly human lest I break your ring and murder you with my own two hands!"

He did not respond for several minutes, choosing instead to flick through the heavy tome. At last, he paused upon a passage. He read it slowly, "Chiroptera Sapien, a sentient, humanoid species, predominately brown or black in fur. Hmm... They fail to mention how attractive they are... Oh, I see... Interesting information, but not particularly useful. Oh well, I've always been more of a hands on person."

He then turned to address his beautiful catch- and what a catch she was indeed. So much fire and beauty! Anything else would have been unsuitable. He focused upon her face, knowing he could fully relish those lucious curves soon enough. The mere thought caused his magic to shudder, the candles flames dancing lightly in an invisible breath.

"It's quite simple really. You see, you neeed my help. You just haven't realized it yet. But before we get to business, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name? You may call me Evan."

As he spoke, he gestured in the air, drawing his magic together into a spell. He would wait for her to reply before releasing it.

The spell was a simple one, a pair of Mage Hands, designed to create a delightuflly soft touch along her back, massaging and teasing where the folds of her wings attached to her shoulders. If the book was correct, this is quite sensitive.

Was she being...ignored? No apologies, no request for stupid favors that any man could get if they merely tried to. He just looked down in a boring book and read about her kind. Where the hell did he get a book on her kind anyways? Sure she wasn't exactly threatening; her body was too feminine, harmless looking. As a matter of fact except for her fangs she couldn't really inflict massive damage at any given time.

However Nadia couldn't help but take notice of the human, he was more attractive then most summoners, young too. It was the young ones who tended to be a bit cockier trying to make their summons slaves, or asking for more then one favor. But her animal side made the note he was strong thus any children of his would be strong as well, stronger yet with her blood. It was a mere whisper at the back of her mind though, nothing more. Thus she didn't acknowledge it in the least bit.

"I don't need much of anything from you Evan." she snapped back eyes flashing. "Apparently you need me or else you wouldn't have disrupted my lunch. I'm Nadia...by the way" She didn't recognize the hand gesture, or the magic he worked with. There was too much of it in the room, her senses couldn't focus on any single wave length.
