I would guess the answer is two-fold. First, you are a thoughtful, intellectual person with a love of ideas and words, and who finds that writing is a means of examining and sharing feelings and emotions beyond that which usually occurs in conversation. … not always of course.
The second reason that you (and I) are here is that we are people whose sexual pleasure, for better are worse, has developed strong roots in our imagination … and again, not necessarily exclusively.
Those constituting the case, one's desire for sharing good “writing sex” and “role playing sex” require a person, or people of like mind and desire and with comparable writing skills, also, similar commitment.
Granted another, or others in the same boat how do we find one another?
I suppose one starts with the simplest part, an expression of topic interests.
For me, in general, I am interested in more contemporary “real life” situations rather than fantasy worlds. The sorts of things that might be found on Doctor Phil archives, mostly likely after certain principals had served time in jail. Fortunately neither you nor I (please!) need concern ourselves with the law since we are simply contemplating the fate of fictitious characters.
Consider the case of a mother, who, having lost her husband to a younger woman is on the verge of losing her now 15 year old daughter to drugs and licentious behavior and who meets a slightly older gentlemen, perhaps with his own like minded daughter, who charms the mother and firmly convinces her that her daughter can be saved if ….
Or. consider another case in which a mature woman, formally a high school principal, now retired, puts a notice up on a local college bulletin board with an offer for a room for rent with certain curious provisos, “Must be a serious boy student, home by 8 pm, no girl friends, light duties expected in lieu of full rent.” What sort of woman would place such an ad and what sort of young male would find his pulse racing upon finding such an ad?
Well, those are just two cases I would enjoy exploring. But what does that mean … exploring?
I think, for certain people this means joining together to prod deeply in the lower limbic motivations of certain characters, and pondering circumstances providing opportunities for certain piquant choices.
In my mind, after choosing a general case such as the ones I have provided, or others, the next step is to start asking questions. I think that generating questions, rather than asserting story parameters, would be the most interesting means by which two writers might get to know each other and find common ground.
What questions … the most immediate ones first, and those otherwise later. (Yes I have a sense of humor, but often with a point.)
Well, I think that is enough to peak your disinterest or otherwise. Please PM if something here strikes a harmonious note.
Final thought … things should always proceed, unbowed by need of the immediate sort, in short, savory back burner cooking until a natural boil occurs.
