Alison wascurled up in her bed on christmas eve, her eyes closed, her breathing slow and soft, but she wasn't asleep. Oh no. She was wide awake, and beneath the sheets of her bed she was tightly clutching onto her camera. For years now her friends had mocked her belief in Santa, for years they had called her a child, that nobody in high school should still believe in Santa, but Alison still believed, and now she was going to prove it. For the first time, Alison was staying awake over christmas eve, and she was ready to get the proof she so desperately needed.
It was about 3am now, and Alison was starting to feel tiredness overtake her, but then....then she heard something...movement...footsteps! Something was up on the roof, she could hear it! Alion could barely contain her excitement as she heard her window open, almost silently, a cool breeze drifting into the room, though she resisted the urge to shiver. Alison heard someone stepping into her room, waiting until she heard the steps moving deeper into her room, before suddenly she sat up. Without even trying to look around in the dark, Alison raised her camera and immediately started taking a few pictures all around her, until finally she lowered the camera and looked up, wanting to see Santa, wanting to finally meet the jolly old man after so long...
