It was an unusually cold day, snow was falling down to coat the streets and sidewalks. Not uncommon for the area, but the biting wind was a bit unusual. High blunt winds that tore through the streets and bit into any unprotected flesh like frozen knives. It was terrible weather to be outside in, especially for one young girl who didn't seam to have the first clue as to what was going on. She was a beautiful young girl, with hair that fell to her waist in ink black, silky soft sheets... or they would have, had they not been matted and clumped, coated in blood, and mud. Her skin was as white as milk, where it could be seen through dirt, burns, blood, and bruises. Her eyes where as black as her hair, shining starkly against the paleness of her face. Beautiful, but dirty and injured quite badly.
She was also well set to freeze to death, because she was wearing only a pair of jeans that where torn in many places. Her T-Shirt wasn't in any better condition. She was shivering violently, but the few people who passed her in the street, didn't even cast her a second glance. That was human nature after all. She shuddered and shivered and trembled as she stood on the edge of the street as if waiting for someone, but from the way she wasn't looking for a car, it seamed obvious she didn't know who, if anyone WAS coming. She sniffled, wiped her nose on the edge of a tattered sleeve, and then shivered again, closing her eyes and felt the world sway. Everything hurt, and she was so cold. She just wanted to lay down, just for a little while, and sleep.
