Alexander got up way too early for summer. The light shone in through his curtains to bother his his sleep, and up he went. "Jesus... how early is it?" He said lowly. He knew it was early because he still felt sleepy, but not enough to go to sleep. A hole inside his stomach made him get up to fill it. He felt somewhat hot, but it was to early for the real heat. He stood, not aware of his morning wood like every other day. He thought he heard some fussing downstairs, and if anyone was left at home, it was because it was way too early. Alex opened the door to his room to see tat the hall shone a bit too bright, the sun seemed to be in the correct angle to light it all. It was really rare, he wasn't used to seeing it like that. Walking oddly, trying to regain consciousness, he let our a loud yawn and stretched his long arms. For being the smallest person in the family, he had turn out to be the tallest. Going to college in the next August, he wanted to make this summer the best of his life yet. Getting to the stairs he looked below. More sounds came form the kitchen, as his boxers were trying to hide his presence, which was harder that you might think. After some slow thoughts and movements, he got his quickness back and looked around to see the great Grandfather Clock in the corner show a proud 8:47.
"Why can't I ever sleep like a normal person?" He asked himself as he stretched one last time while going into the kitchen. He was wondering who was making all that noise.
