The first rays of the sun flooded the kitchen making the whole room shine with gleams of the purest gold. The air was thick with a symphony of smells. The wood and resin of the house. The fragrant apples on the kitchen isle. The freshly brewed coffee in the cup that Damien was holding while contemplating the note left by his father.
