Having wandered a little ways from home, the lone Ralts had been seeking out some berries for food. With this edge of the forest being a little unfamiliar though, she had exerted a little more energy than usual in her pursuit. At least once she did find what she was looking for, she decided to take a quick break. Taking a few in each hand, she popped a few of those sweet berries in her mouth, sighing happily with the taste. She'd have to make it a habit to come by here more often, regardless of what trouble could come to her along the way. She plopped down against a tree trunk as she finished off the small handfuls of berries, satisfied for the moment. There was still plenty of time to get back home, as the sun was still out. She never did want to find out what was out here at that time. "Hmm...there haven't been any humans passing through lately," she thought. This was a common area for trainers to look for Pokemon, and she was a rather rare sight. At least she had wandered to a rather odd area that would be harder for them to find her. She felt herself becoming a little sleepy then, most likely with how many berries she ate. A short nap probably wouldn't hurt, and she needed her energy for when she went back home anyway. With a soft yawn, she slowly drifted off to sleep, not planning to be out for too long.

Fro walked along the path as happy as he could be. Just the previous day he won his 3rd badge and he was on the right path to the pokemon league. He smiled as he held it up and allowed the sun to shine gracefully on it.

"I am so badass..." he commented to himself as he pulled out his badge case and placed his new badge within it. After putting the case away, he sighed happily. "At the rate I am going, it won't be long before I reach the next gym..." he added with pride. His green eyes stared at the sky with proud joy, as the wind rushed through his wild 'fro' with ease. His baggage hanged on his left side while staying in place. Most of his appearance was of a black and slight orange scheme with sneakers, long pants, and a collared shirt.

"Hm?" Fro stopped as he heard some movement to his left. He took a stance and placed a hand into his shirt's pocket, ready to take action. However, a small Rattata came out holding a small berry, where it ate without concern towards fro. "Not worth it..." Fro remarked with a sigh as he expected to come across a rare pokemon. He continued on for another 5 minutes before spotting something else. "What is that?" he wondered aloud as he pulled out his pokedex:

"Ralts, the 'feeling pokemon',

It is highly attuned to the emotions of people and Pokémon. It hides if its senses hostility. If its horns capture the warm feelings of people or Pokémon, its body warms up slightly."

"Huh, sounds pretty rare; I don't think that I've ever seen one before..." he added as he closed the pokedex and smirked. "A Psychic/Fairy hybrid? Now that's pretty something! Let's see if I can catch it..." Fro reached for his belt this time as he pulled out a small luxury ball. Enlarging it, he threw it before yelling, "Let's go Heracross!"

A large bug/fighting pokemon known as Heracross, came out with vigor. "Hera!" it cried, alerting the Ralts.

While the Ralts would know it, quite a bit of time had passed by in the time she had been napping. What was to be around 10-15 minutes turned out to be nearly double that. Of course, it wasn't as though it was too dark for her to get back home, but it did make it a little riskier with certain pokemon coming out that would give her trouble. Unbeknownst to her, a different sort of trouble would come her way in the form of a young trainer that was making his way through the area. It had to ahave been by chance that he caught sight of her there, though the Rattata that came before had nabbed a berry from the same bushes she was resting near.

She found her slumber being disturbed with the loud call of a young trainer. Her vision was just a little misty at first, but she did catch sight of the figure up ahead. "Oh no! I can't believe I let this happen!" It wasn't that she disliked humans or anything, but she put herself in such a terrible position. She managed to push herself up as the trainer tossed a pokeball her way, though it was not to catch her. As the large Heracross emerged from the pokeball, Ralts felt her body freeze up slightly. Come to think of it, she really hadn't fought against anyone before, so she felt for a moment like she didn't know what to do. At this rate, she thought it might be best to make a run for it and try to attack from afar to cover her escape. She quickly shuffled towards the way she came from, turning briefly to prepare her Confusion attack. With a desperate cry, she sent the powerful attack straight for the Heracross, though she soon found herself being blasted back as a result. Being that she hadn't been in a battle before, she had not gotten used to how much she was supposed to output, and this time, she had put in too much power without preparing herself. She let out a helpless cry as she was sent back a bit, rolling a bit before she managed to get herself onto her feet. Luckily for her, it had given her a good bit of distance from her pursuers, and she turned to run for it. However...her foot caught onto the root of a tree there, and she found herself falling forward onto her face. At least the ground was still a bit soft.

"....."

*Sweat drop*

Fro and his Heracross went through the same thing as they were dumbfounded by what occurred. At least from 'pokemon-logic', Fro would assume that she somehow confused herself and hurt herself...twice.

"Um..." Fro didnt know if he should attack or throw a pokeball given what just occurred. To be honest, he actually felt sorry for it as he slowly walked passed his prized pokemon, who simply relaxed and placed its wings back into its body, waiting for what his trainer was to do next. Fro walked next to the foot-tall pokemon and bent over to check it over. "Are you ok?" he asked as he gently touched it. Before he could allow it to give him a reaction, he lifted it to examine it. At this angle, he could see under her 'hair' and see her eyes. "You took a hard fall, didn't you?" he asked with a sad smile as he sat with legs crossed and lifted her hair back to see a small red mark on her forehead.

Ralts lay there still for a while, far too embarrassed to push herself up and keep going. She had thought she made quite the escape, but she only ended up making a fool of herself in front of the trainer and his pokemon. She expected some sort of laughter at her expense, though she only heard the footsteps as he approached her from behind.

"I can't believe this is happening. I must have looked like such a fool." She knew she probably should have gotten up to try and escape, but she had taken quite a hit to the head when she fell. It wasn't all that serious, though she had a noticeable red bruise on her forehead. Ralts lifted her head slowly from the ground as she looked up at the young trainer. She didn't see the Heracross with him, and she could tell he didn't intend to harm her for now. She was pretty sensitive to the emotions of humans, and she could definitely tell how sorry he felt for her. She panicked a little as she was lifted up, allowing him to examine the bruise on her forehead. He offered a rather kind smile to her, one that put her mind at ease for now as he didn't seem like a bad person. Even so, she couldn't help but feel really embarrassed about falling just now. Her cheeks were a bit flushed as well due to that, though definitely not as red as her forehead.

"Let me see..." Fro used a free hand to go through his bag. Surely he had a potion or two available, right? But he frowned as he didn't find a single container. Thus, he looked for a berry, but had no luck again. "There has to be something- well what do you know." he remarked as he rolled his eyes and pulled out a heal ball. "Here I thought it was useless, but hey, I suppose since I don't have six pokemon with me, it be useful for you NOW..." Fro looked at the timid Ralts. Smiling, he said, "I'll see you in a few seconds..." before pressing the pokeball against her. Instead of a regular red beam covering her, it held a pink tone that was carried with glitter. With just one shake, the ball sealed and 'sighed' indicating that he caught her. It wasn't a surprise considering how she weaken herself.

"Ok then~ Come back out..." he said as he opened it again and called out his new Ralts. This time, she fell on to his lap in a similar matter to how he had her with his hand. "Hey, the injury is gone~" he stated smirking. "Feel better?" he asked as he took a few seconds before holding her with both hands and standing up. He held her up high and gave her a small 'throw' into the air before catching her gently. "All better?" he asked smiling.

Ralts watched curiously as the trainer searched around in his bag for some way of helping her. She hadn't experienced it herself, but she knew of the different potion trainers used to heal their pokemon. It seemed that his search ended up without any results, and even Ralts was a little disappointed. Her injury did bother her a little, even though she knew it would get better in time. Her eyes then fell to the heal ball in his hand, knowing it was a different sort of pokeball. Being how she was now though, she couldn't really put up that much fight. The knock back from her attack had shaken her up a little, and the fall just now made it so Fro wouldn't have to do anything. She gasped softly as he pressed the pokeball to her, in which she was quickly taken into it. The pokeball struggled only for a moment in his hand before it stopped, showing her had caught her. Meanwhile, Ralts had felt the effects of the heal ball take effect instantly, the fatigue from her body leaving her and the wound on her forehead also disappearing.

She was soon pulled back out, falling into his lap. Of course, she knew that he had to be her new trainer now, having caught her in one of those pokeballs. She did feel grateful for him helping her out though, giving him a shy nod as he asked of her well being. Perhaps with someone like him, it wouldn't be a bad idea to travel around with him. She let out a little yelp of surprise when he tossed her up suddenly, only to catch her again. She did prefer to stay on the ground, but she knew he didn't have bad intentions. She let out a little cry to show how pleased she was, though it was clear she had some warming up to do.

Fro smiled as his Heracross nodded in approval. "Speaking of which, what gender are you- OW!" Fro, naturally too curious, attempted to look under her white 'skirt' that covered the small green legs that she would obviously have hidden. Of course, her response was of a kick to his face as she whined and tried to shake off. "OK OK! I can tell that you're a girl based on your reaction!" Fro remarked laughing in pain as she was embarrassed.

A few hours passed before Fro found himself in a opened mellow valley. The grass seemed to go on for miles on end as the warm breeze on the afternoon was most welcoming. "Ok, I think that it be good to have lunch now." he decided. After setting up a big blanket across the grass, he set up a few bowls with pokemon food and got himself a small fire started. It took 10 minutes before he could get his meal cooking. Then, after gathering four pokeballs, he threw them all into the air. "Lunch time!"

Aside from his Heracross and Ralts, he had a Ivysaur and a Murko. Those two took notice of the obvious new member of his team. "Everyone, say hello to Ralts! I just got her today so make her feel welcome." Fro said smiling. "Also, I got your lunches ready~" he added. Although he still making something special for Ralts; he forgot that he actually caught her moments after he started to set up food. "Ralts, your meal is almost ready..."

Heracross already met Ralts, while his Ivysaur gave a friendly gesture. His Murko, a female, happy let out a sweet hoot in a friendly matter. Spent only a minute, they went on to eat their meals as Fro sat next to them and placed a bowl in front of Ralts. "I don't know if you'll like this; I have no idea what your 'taste' is, but all of my pokemon seem to equally enjoy this recipe..."

Even with how timid she was, Ralts had no qualms about giving Fro a good number of kicks to the face with his antics. She had to wonder why he was so interested in learning about that, but she didn't stop until she was too far to reach him. She pouted at him, suddenly questioning what she had gotten herself into. Hopefully with that little issue out of the way, the rest of the journey would be smooth. She was curious to see some new sights aside from the home she had been so used to. And at least it would be nice and comfortable in her pokeball.

---

The next time Ralts was let out, it was time for a meal. While the berries had been rather filling, Ralts was started to feel her need for some more food. She noticed how she wasn't alone, with there being two other pokemon she hadn't met yet aside from Heracross: an Ivysaur and a Murkrow. She could sense how curious they were to see her, and that was to be expected considering how long she had been with Fro since she was caught. She was relieved that they were both just as friendly and open to having her there as Heracross had been. It was really a good thing she hadn't gone and fought him back then in the forest. She gave her little replies back, though of course she just had more to get used to.

Ralts waited patiently for her food to be prepared, spending most of her time around Fro as she watched the others eat. No point in disturbing them after all. Luckily, she didn't have to wait long for her portion to be set in front of her. She hadn't had anything like this, but it smelled promising. She took hold of a piece, taking a little bite of it. She was surprised at just how good it tasted, already finding herself reaching for another piece. She gave a pleased cry to Fro as she ate, knowing she'd really come to look forward to his meals from then on.

Smiling at her enjoyment, he looked over to his meal on the pan; shredded meat and vegetables with BBQ. After he moved the meat into his plate, he took out the fire and got some loaf of bread with some juice. Sighing, he sat down and started to eat. "Enjoying yourself Ralts?" he asked her as he was curious to how she was getting use to this.

And so the days passed as Fro had to get Ralt into battling. Yes she knew some moves, but even she was too shy to battle against wild pokemon like a pigey.

"Come on Ralts; just use confusion and you'll beat that flying pokemon with no issue!" Fro said as a pigey was drinking water from a stream. He honestly didn't expect Ralts to be so timid even after how he needed to train her.

Of course, Ralts was all too pleased with this meal she had. She really could eat this sort of meal all day, though that probably wouldn't be good for her. She still sat pretty close to him as she ate, but she did take the time to get more acquainted with her fellow pokemon. She'd be traveling and training with them from here on after all. She gave another approving cry to Fro as she finished up the last of her meal, looking quite satisfied.

---

Like the others on the team, Ralts had to carry her weight when it came to battling. She had plenty of potential to be a threat, but it was a matter of building her confidence and controlling her power. Even while a Pidgey should be an easy fight for her, she found herself hesitating still. She eyed the Pidgey at the stream, figuring she could attack while it was unaware. Still, the last time she used Confusion, she embarrassed herself and got caught. She decided to give it a shot, sendin another Confusion attack to the Pidgey. She did a better job of staying on the ground, though her attack was a little off the mark...

The attack hit the water in front of the piegy and caused it to suddenly fly off in fear. Fro was dumbfounded but tried to stay positive.

"Hey, that wasn't bad...?" he lied, trying to make his pokemon feel better.

It would obviously take more time for her to get in form for battling. Especially when another week had to pass before she managed to win her very first battle. A joyful experience, Fro went on to improve his battling relationship with Ralts to the point where he could fully rely on her. Of course, Ralts was pretty interesting compared to his other pokemon; she hated to sleep in her pokeball. Thus, she was always sleeping with him outside her pokeball at night. Especially at pokemon centers.

"......" Fro looked into the ceiling as it was passed midnight and it was completely dark. His Ralt made it impossible for him to move freely since she always moved against his body for warmth and comfort. Cute as it was, it was also annoying but he dealt with it as it was the only way for her to sleep.

Ralts was a little disappointed with her performance, but she did feel like she was getting a better idea of how to control her abilities. She could only do so much with her instincts, so she'd have to rely on Fro to help her out with strategy and whatnot. He had been putting her battle debut aside until he was confident that she could hold her own without something unexpected happening. She knew he was saying it to make her feel better, but she did gain a bit more motivation to do better. She had seen how well the others were in a battle, so she just had to learn from them and apply it to herself.

In the week of training, Ralts had gotten much better at controlling her abilities, though her freezing up in a battle was the next thing to work on. It usually happened with the larger opponents, but with Fro's help, she was gaining some more confidence in going up against whoever came their way. When she finally did win her first battle, it was quite an experience for both of them. They still had ways to go, but all the training was definitely paying off.

---

Ralts had also started to get over her timidness with Fro, only slightly though. It seemed more that she wanted to be around him more, and they had gotten in the habit of having her sleep with him. She insisted on it really, and just wouldn't go to sleep if they didn't do this. She looked so peaceful resting on his chest, even though it made it a little hard for Fro to sleep. She'd occasionally move to adjust herself before laying still again, blissfully unaware of how she kept him up.

When Fro finally challenged the fourth gym in his journey, it worked out pretty well for Ralts. Of course, her managing to finish off a very strong pokemon and weaken the gym leader's last, was a good achievement in Fro's eyes as her attacks were becoming stronger with each day. Naturally, it was only a matter of time before she evolved.

"....Use Teleport!" he yelled out in battle as she took on a machop on the mountain side. "Now finish it off with Confusion!" he added.

When Ralts managed to achieve victory, Fro gave a thumbs up to his pokemon. "Nice!" he said with joy as the Machop admitted defeat and slowly limped away. "You were great! You were-" Fro couldn't finish his sentence as Ralts was glowing brightly. "The hell- Ralts is already evolving?!" It took his starter at least one month!

While Ralts was still knocked out in the Gym challenge, she had gotten a lot of work done, taking out one pokemon herself and lasting quite a while against the last one. It was good to know that she was improving rather quickly thanks to Fro's guidance, almost too quickly it seemed. It came to the point where she actually was itching for a battle from time to time, wanting to be even more useful to Fro and the rest of his team.

Even with the battle against Machop being favorable for Ralts, it was still a relatively tough challenge. With Fro's command, she avoided a Karate Chop from the Machop, teleporting a short distance away before she let loose with Confusion. The attack hit head on, and it was another victory chalked up for her. She was ready to rush back to her trainer's side to celebrate, though that was when the white light engulfed her, a sudden wave of energy rushing through her little form that she had never felt before. Her form grew a bit taller, the figure becoming a little more feminine as well.

Once the light had died down, her new form was revealed: Kirlia! for a moment, she stood there confused at the sudden change, though she soon realized what this meant. Her training with Fro had led to this, and she couldn't be happier. She quickly turned to her trainer, looking quite elated with this new form. With a quick spin on her tiptoes, she had given a wonderful twirl much like a fine ballerina.

Fro, who was speechless, pulled out his pokedex:

"Kirlia, the emotion pokemon.

The cheerful spirit of its Trainer gives it energy for its psychokinetic power. It spins and dances when happy. It has a psychic power that enables it to distort the space around it and see into the future."

"Heh, wow..." Fro said with a funny smile. "You look great!" Fro gave another thumbs up.

Kirlia became one of Fro's strongest pokemon. His third to be honest, and out of the 5 pokemon that he had now. With Ivysaur and Heracross his main 2 pokemon, Kirlia was a lot more of importance within his team. In fact, Kirlia was the reason why he won his 5th badge weeks later. And yet, Fro was often curious to how strong she would become; her attacks were beyond what he expected. In fact, she was taking care of pokemon with ease in such matter that he didn't expect to occur so soon after her second evolution. When her third evolution came after an encounter with a hostile Garchomp, Fro couldn't believe what was in front of him as he pulled out his pokedex:

"Gardevoir, the Embrace pokemon.

It has the power to predict the future. Its power peaks when it is protecting its Trainer, in which to protect its Trainer, it will expend all its psychic power to create a small black hole."

"You don't say..." Fro remarked to his device as the defeated Garchomp coward away.

Kirlia was thrilled to have his praise, as she was enjoying her new appearance as well. Despite her still cutesy appearance, it was clear she'd still be able to pack quite a punch. By this point, she had gotten a good hold of her powers, gaining some much needed confidence and cheerfulness as the Pokedex stated. It was interesting to see how she had been rather clumsy at first, but she had already worked her way up to being one of Fro's more important partners. Psychic-types were ion a different level, even with what weaknesses they had. Whether Fro knew it or not, there was still plenty of potential locked up that was jut waiting to come out.

Their continuous training only reaped more and more results. Her grace and coordination with Fro had her win ratio raising rather quickly, and she was a big part in Fro winning his 5th badge. At the rate they were going, it seemed like their victories would keep piling up. She let out more powerful attacks from her small form, always catching opponents off guard. The battle against Garchomp did seem at first like it would be a tough battle for her, but the synergy between her and Fro allowed her to get around the obvious strength deficit. She was eager to defend her master as the Garchomp had attacked them out of nowhere, and with that, she was able to make surprisingly quick work of the larger creature. With such a powerful pokemon defeated, it couldn't have been all that surprising that she evolved after the battle, her form growing much taller to be almost as tall as Fro was.

Now standing in her final evolution, Gardevoir took a moment to look over herself, giving another more graceful twirl, her 'dress' lifting up slightly in the process, but not enough to show anything really. As if this wasn't surprising enough, Fro was about to get something even better.

"Look, Master! I evolved again!" The voice would sound in his head, as it would seem that she was communicating telepathically with him. Since she hadn't done that before, even she wasn't quite aware of it.

"Yeah you did- THE FUCK?!"

Fro smiled for a moment but froze when he heard a voice. He looked at his pokemon and blinked. What was that? He blinked a few times more and shook his head.

Did...did she just speak? No, that's impossible; pokemon can't talk! he thought in his mind as he looked at his beautiful new pokemon. Smiling, he walked up to her and gave her a hug. "You look amazing...I am glad that all of our hard work is paying off!" And to think, it was only less than 2 months ago that he caught her as a Ralts. "I am proud of you Gardevoir..." he said smiling proudly.

And things were never the same.

Fro and his...'pokemon' were quite the team as she was a major powerhouse and his genius mind-set kept them going and going. However, some strange things were happening now: For some reason, he kept hearing the 'voice' of his Gardevoir. Yes he was well-aware of telepathic communication that existed in her type of pokemon, but he didn't expect it to go to these levels. Every day, she was able to communicate with him a lot more easier than the previous day. It was so strange as there were times where she couldn't talk to him, and some days where she could have conversations with him!

It beyond troubling when her body was something as well; what was up with it? Even being 'older' by evolution, she still didn't feel comfortable sleeping alone and wanted to be in the same bed. It was hard for Fro to handle this when she had a strong sex appeal. Of course, he made sure that he never gave in; wouldn't it be frowned upon by others if he did this? Poke-abuse as they called it? It bothered him with how erotic she was but he continued to fight on and on.

"Gradevoir, why do you insist on sleeping with me even by this point???" he asked her as they were at a pokemon center. "Aren't you a little 'too old' by this point where you're afraid to sleep alone?"

It definitely took some time for both Fro and Gardevoir to get used to this telepathic communication. Before, he would still speak regularly to her and she would respond with her usual calls. Now she would give her usual responses, except Fro would mainly hear the voice of a young woman: Gardevoir's voice. Her voice became clearer in Fro's mind as the days went by, to the point where it sounded like a human in front of him was speaking to him. Of course, she wasn't human, but her form definitely looked similar to a woman's. She had really gotten into the habit of using 'Master' to address Fro, and her insistence in falling asleep on his chest had not changed at all. Gardevoir was completely oblivious to the fact that this was making Fro a little uncomfortable, as she had gotten so used to it in all their time spent together.

Surely Fro would be able to note the difference in Gardevoir's body as she lay on his chest, and whether or not she knew how it affected him, it didn't stop her from occasionally shifting to get more comfortable before lulling off to sleep again. She didn't have any...odd intentions from this. She simply had become rather attached to Fro, showing her affection. After stopping by at another Pokemon Center, Gardevoir was a little surprised to hear Fro's question.

"Erm...is it a bother to you, Master? I really feel safe when I'm with you like that. And...even though I look like this, I'm still the very same Ralts you found before..."

"I-"

Fro stopped as he blushed at that last comment. She did have a point of being that 'same' Ralts that he caught, but this was just too much! He couldn't honestly take advantage of her innocence and have his way with her; he knew that it would be abusing their trust and bond.

"Look, I am just saying that you're not one who needs protecting; you're quite a POWERFUL pokemon. I don't understand why you would still feel the need to sleep with me to feel 'safe'..." he explained with a frown. "And it's not that I am 'bothered' by you sleeping with me..." he lied.

Gardevoir still stared rather curiously at her trainer, not finding her actions all that odd really. She was wondering if maybe she'd have to go back in her pokeball then, but he hadn't said anything about it until she evolved for the second time. Maybe it was just because she was smaller then that it wasn't too odd for him.

"Well...it's not necessarily for just feeling safe. It's a lot more comfortable here than in my pokeball." But if she really needed to move, then she could abide by his request. "I'm so frail and helpless when I'm sleepy though," she said with a little chuckle. "I have to rely on you too, Master."

"Really..." he said with a dull expression. Honestly, how could this continue to get worst? "Well fine..." he said as he turned around. "I am changing..." Funny enough, he didn't have an issue removing his clothing and moving into comfortable PJs in front of her. Maybe because she didn't seem to care and give no reaction? That at least relaxed his mind.

"Well I am going to sleep now..." he told her as he turned the switch and the room went dark. Only the moon light through the window brought any visual slight into the room. Moving into the bed, he said, "I think we're going to sleep in; it's been ages since we were able to sleep on a bed..." he yawned.

She was hoping he wouldn't put too much more thought into her actions, as she really didn't have any odd intentions by sleeping with him. As he moved out of bed to go change, she did of course sit there watching him, not really feeling anything from seeing him undress. He didn't really try to go somewhere she couldn't see him anyway, so he couldn't really blame her for looking.

As he went for the bed, she went ahead and joined him of course, waiting for him to lie down before she nuzzled up at his side. "That's true, Master. All that traveling would make anyone tired. It might be a good idea to stay here for a little while longer just to make sure you're all full of energy again."
