The Empress of the Elorian Empire, a woman of such grace and beauty, her royal guards would cut out the eyes of any man who looked at her with dirty intent such as lust, the Elorian empire streaches far and wide, from the northen mountains to the southern oceans, and in the middle lie their desert homeland, and their great citadel where the Empress lives.
The Empress is beginning to become of an age where it is completely unacceptable for her not to have a husband, not for societal norms, but because without a husband or wife, her status will be bought into question as she will be seen as not fit to have children, thus carrying on her own legacy to a son or daughter, and then word comes of a man who might fit her high standards, a young prince from a far off land who's exploits in battle against the barbarians who's territory separates the Elorian empire from his own kingdom, so she sets out to meet this prince.
She manages to get through barbarian territory and make it to the kingdom, she finds the prince and offers him a chance to marry her, however the prince refuses, for he has already pledged to marry the queen of one of the barbarian tribes in exchange for fighting her tribe's enemies which will also secure his own nation's borders, even though he has much more to gain from marrying the empress, he is a man of his word... and the empress who has never been denied anything before gets a feeling she has never felt before... jealousy... she will not be denied, least of all a man who's skill, looks, stature and status is all up to her highest of standards, and the Barbarian queen, she will not allow her future husband to be taken from her by this stranger!

in this RP, the Empress will behave like an Empress would, spoiled, snobbish, entitled and determined to get what she wants.
the Barbarian is defensive and aggressive, the kind of woman who would rather settle things with a fight to the death than a negotiation.
the Prince is a gentleman, a diplomat and warrior, with a cool, level head in almost all situations he tries to be the middleman to avoid hostilities, and to be the tip of the spear against whoever is in the wrong.
This Rp will require either one person willing to play 2 characters, or two separate extra players.
